The County Line Riverwalk is a BBQ restaurant in the Downtown neighborhood of San Antonio.
“Me and my wife had the 5 Meat Smokehouse Combo. The sausage was very good, peppered turkey was delicious, ribs were good, brisket was very good, chicken was very good. Fries were amazing! Would definitely recommend. The beans were disappointing but probably only due to our expectations. They were more like pinto beans than BBQ baked beans like we are used to. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and view also.”
“Not sure why this place is getting below 4 stars. There must be some delicious BBQ places here in Texas, if people thought this was crap. We thought the sausage, turkey, and chicken were pretty good. Granted, being from California, what do we know about good BBQ. The ribs and brisket was on the dry side, but the sauce did help with that. The beans and homemade bread was decent when it's warm. We could pass on the potato salad though. Unfortunately, we were so stuffed that we couldn't try a dessert.”
“You can’t beat sitting on the riverwalk for lunch. We shared the 5 meat platter. Everything was good, especially the chicken and brisket. It was Sunday afternoon and everything was freshly made (I saw some other reviewers were not as lucky). Our Mac’n’cheese was quite good. They served nice mocktails with lots of ice. Service was a bit slow especially when it came time for the bill. Overall it was reasonable value and decent food.”
“Somewhat disappointed with my meal. When in Texas, what do you eat? BBQ/Brisket/Sausage. The setting was perfect, but the fat in the brisket was way too much, and the mac and cheese was way too cooked and soft. Maybe others have had better experiences, but it was not my case. Again, the setting and location were perfect.”
“I got the three meat plate - brisket, ribs, pulled pork, beans, mac 'n cheese, and the queso & chips appetizer. The only good things were the queso and chips & my server. The brisket is pale like it was boiled or something. The ribs were tough and chewy. The pulled pork was in some sort of disgusting liquid. The mac and cheese was mushy and the beans were horrible. I came here because Pinkerton's was closed due to it being Monday. Lesson learned.”
