“I love the decoration of this place. I got a Dinner quesadilla and side garlic fries and when I tried the fries they were DELICIOUS (good with ketchup) and the quesadilla too. Perfect place to hang out with friends and family. Rating? 20/20 stars!”
“Two friends and I had brunch here today and the food & staff was excellent! There was a short wait (despite it being a Sunday morning) with seating inside. The menu is fantastic with plenty of choices like alcoholic & non-alcoholic crafted beverages and insanely good appetizer, meal, & desert choices. The three of us shared several dishes and all throughly enjoyed everything! After our meal my friends and I wanted to take a few pictures with the gorgeous artwork inside (we were also dressed in costumes from a prior event) and of course, staff was extremely kind and let us take photos as long as we wanted. Thanks to the staff for making such a wonderful experience!”
“Such a welcoming and warm service! They really made us feel at home. The food was delicious! I had the Goldi-lox Omelette and 🧑🍳💋, I think it was the best omelette I have ever had. My partner got the huevos Motuleños and also loved them. Finally, we got the Lisa Marie hot cake, which sounded “interesting and like such a weird combination,” but it was so good! Can’t wait to visit them again!”
“Golden West Cafe in Baltimore delivers a unique, laid-back vibe with a diverse menu that easily satisfies both breakfast and lunch cravings. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the Caesar salad, Hangover Burger, bacon egg and cheese biscuit, Elvis pancakes, and a quesadilla—and overall, the experience was a solid 4/5. The Caesar salad stood out with its fresh ingredients and what tasted like homemade croutons. The Hangover Burger was cooked perfectly to order and packed with flavor, though the garlic fries it comes with are very garlicky—something to keep in mind if you prefer a milder side (you may want to request plain fries). The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was simple but delicious, while the Elvis pancakes—topped with bacon and peanut butter—were a standout and a must-try if you’re feeling indulgent. The quesadilla was also very good, paired with an impressively flavorful broth that elevated the dish. To top it off, the iced coffee was bold and strong, but still smooth and refreshing. One thing to note: street parking is limited in the area, so plan accordingly when visiting. Overall, Golden Key West offers great food, solid portions, and a cool atmosphere that’s definitely worth checking out.”
“This place used to be good. I fell off, poor management. Today we went to breakfast when they opened. It seemed like the kitchen wasn’t ready and the FOH was understaffed because 30 minutes in and no one has food. People barely had drinks. The bartender and host were serving tables. Ordered fish tacos and one of the tacos was fish, the other one a mystery. I tried called the server over and she put her hand up to tell me to wait. When she finally came over she said oh that’s the Unchicken (vegan chicken). Our original server who I’m assuming was the bartender came over and checked in, told them the story and they said that’s weird. I then called the manager over and told her and told her my partner who’s with me is vegan, if she had ordered the unchicken and got a fish taco (opposite of what happened with my order) that would have been devastating. Or if someone had a bad allergy. A whole protein was wrong on half the plate. I told her i just wanted to make her aware. She proceeds to tell us a story about a time when a customer forgot to tell her she’s vegan and they served her a burger and that she (the manager) was shocked. i.e. went straight into a story blaming a customer. Completely different from today. The server did bring another plate of fish tacos and apologized. But we were charged for everything not even an offer to comp something off our tab. Separately, a customer at the bar was trying to get a receipt for the bartender and the bartender couldn’t because the manager was talking to them about doing some process differently as to not to waste inventory, in general, the customer walked up to them and stood there waiting with neither the bartender or manager acknowledging him.”
