“8/18/25 Our server was wonderful, accommodated to some strange requests. - Patatas Bravas: mildly crispy, aioli and salsa had great flavor - Entrants a la Parrilla: skirt steak - Pintxos Morunos: my mom’s favorite of our orders; lamb dish. - Pulpo a la Plancha Everything we ordered was great.”
“We’re so glad we decided to try Boqueria Seaport while visiting Boston. The overall ambience and vibe of the restaurant are lively and perfect for anyone who enjoys tapas and sharing plates in a vibrant setting. What truly transported us back to Spain was the food. The ingredients tasted incredibly authentic and fresh, and every dish reflected that quality. We especially enjoyed the Patatas Bravas and the Crispy Calamari, both perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The Seafood Paella was also on par with the ones we had in Spain. The seafood was cooked to perfection and the flavours were outstanding. It was absolutely worth the 45 minute wait. We also tried the Gambas Al Ajillo, which unfortunately we could not consume. It tasted nothing like how the dish should and had an extremely bitter flavour that was off putting, so we would not order this again. The customer service was great and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Aside from that one dish, this was a standout dining experience during our trip, and we look forward to returning to try more items on the menu.”
“This is a great tapas place to go hang with a group of friends, have some drinks and share a few plates of very good Spanish tapas style food. I have 4 stars for food and service only because I have had much better before. We had theee different servers rotating throughout the night and that took away from a consistent service feeling. First waiter was not very good, didn't make any suggestions and couldn't remember orders. The sangaria was super weak / watered down, so skip that. Crispy sliced Iberico pork was very good, and so was the skirt steak with chimichuri sauce. Chocolate basque cheesecake was perfect.”
“The food was delicious here. Our waitress was so friendly and answered any questions our table had. I wish I could remember her name! We got the brunch feast which I thought was a great option. The patata bravas were sooo good. We also ordered the octopus which was flavorful but I wasn’t crazy about it. The French toast was also one of my favorites. The ambience in here was so cozy and modern, I will return for dinner! They also had $5 mimosas which I thought was super cheap.”
“I left feeling a bit conflicted about this experience. There were definitely some highlights, but for a meal that ended up costing over $100 for one person, the service and pacing didn't quite justify the price. The first half of the meal was excellent. The prosciutto was well-balanced, with the perfect amount of richness and a tangy jam that paired beautifully. The pan con tomate showcased the quality of the ingredients, especially the tomatoes and olive oil. Both croquetas were deliciously creamy, with the mushroom version standing out thanks to its fragrant herbs. Unfortunately, things started to fall off after that. The broccolini felt bland compared to the earlier dishes, and while the meatballs were wonderfully seasoned and comforting, they had gone cold by the time I got to them. The paella avoided the common pitfall of mushy rice, but it leaned heavily into the seafood flavor and may not appeal to those who are sensitive to fishier notes. The bigger issue was the service. During service hours, the entire staff appeared to be gathered for a meeting, leaving multiple guests at the bar without attention for around 15+ minutes. The bartender was away from the bar for extended periods, and another solo diner who sat down wasn't acknowledged for quite some time. There were no check-ins from the bartender or management until I was already halfway through the fifth plate. The pacing also felt rushed and disorganized. Several dishes arrived before I had finished the previous ones, leaving food piling up in front of me and causing some items to cool off before they could be enjoyed. Empty plates often sat for long stretches before being cleared, and there was never any explanation of how many courses to expect. Overall, there was some genuinely good food here, especially in the opening rounds, but the service, pacing, and overall experience left me feeling that the meal didn't quite deliver the value I'd expect at this price point.”
