jm Curley is an American restaurant located in the heart of downtown Boston. Inventive comfort food is what we do best and we've been serving an award-winning burger in Boston since we opened in 2011. Our menu has something for everyone from open til close with late night offerings available seven days a week for our late night travelers, revelers and regulars.
“Went out on a Friday for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was SO good!! I had the steak frites and shared the buffalo chicken mac & cheese with my boyfriend and both were super yummy. Steak frites was perfect portion and the sauce made the french fries taste like poutine / mac and cheese was really filling which is typical for mac and cheese, but chicken was PERFECT!! Staff was super friendly the whole time, highly recommend the Bangarang!!! drink, and lighting/vibe was nice”
“wow. totally blown away. i’ve been here just for drinks before but so glad i ate. of course, the milano sour was quite literally the best drink i’ve ever had. so creative and fun!! and delicious. and my tuna poke plate was equal parts beautiful and yummy. they were playing fun 2010s music and the staff was all wearing themed outfits which was adorable. i can’t wait to come back and try dessert next time! and the late night menu!!”
“We had probably our best brunch ever (no kidding) at jm Curley. We found another restaurant nearby by doing a Google search for “brunch,” but the line was crazy so we found jmC just half a block away. It didn’t show up on the brunch search and that’s a shame. The fried pickles as an appetizer were amazing - light tempura-style batter that didn’t overwhelm the slightly sweet thinly-sliced pickles and the sauce complemented it well. The chicken and waffle bowl was AMAZING - great, unique take on this brunch classic. Such a great combination of flavors! The tuna poke was delicately flavored and perfectly prepared, though it didn’t need as many wontons. Service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were excellent for the high quality food we received. Highly recommended!”
“The burger itself had potential, but the bun tasted stale, almost like it was from the day before, and it took away from the meal. The fries were also far too salty to really enjoy. Service felt overwhelmed throughout the visit. I ordered a root beer and waited nearly 15 minutes just to get the drink. We also had no napkins at the table for most of the meal until a kind hostess finally brought some over. She was honestly the highlight of the experience. I can understand a busy night, but with the food quality issues and overall service delays, there’s very little motivation for us to return.”
“was disappointed with my experience here. As a visitor from Morocco, I didn’t feel particularly welcomed by the staff. While I can’t speak to their intentions, the service felt noticeably colder toward my group than toward other customers around us. The food and atmosphere were fine, but the overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management takes customer service seriously and works to ensure all guests feel equally respected regardless of where they come from.”
