“The food is phenomenal, fresh and delicious, with often a creative take on authentic dishes! A relaxed and fun vibe, and the service is great! We’ve had several friend get togethers here and the staff were very accommodating! My fav restaurant… do not miss the bread pudding for dessert if you still have room!”
“A great place to stop in! I sat at the bar and the bartender Mike helped me... he made me a Medford Sour... It was quite good.. never had a type of whiskey sour before.. i ordered the chicken wings with honey rosemary and lemon.. scrumptious!! Also ordered the Broccolini.. so good! The atmosphere was great.. young and older... a little on the louder side.. had great electric energy. I would definitely go back again!”
“My absolute favorite place to eat in Boston! There’s so many menu options not to mention their daily specials. Everything is made fresh and delicious with the right ingredients! There’s also so many different cocktail options. The location is beautiful with a great outdoor patio area. Such a great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly and inviting! My go to when I’m in the area.”
“Semolina Kitchen & Bar was fantastic from start to finish. The baked ricotta gnocchi was honestly the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. We also ordered the Za’atar Cheese Fries, which were absolutely delicious and something a little different in the best way. We tried the pizza special, the French Onion Pizza, and it was great—creative and really well executed. The service was excellent. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful walking us through the menu and making recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. We finished with the Brownie Sundae for dessert and it was wonderful—rich, warm, and the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere is really nice as well. Overall a great spot with amazing food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!”
“Heard great things about this place, so my friend and I stopped by for dinner. The outdoor patio was fairly spacious, but most of the tables (both inside and out) were already full. It was clearly a popular spot with the Somerville and Medford crowd, but the food overall was just decent. Georgia peach burrata - One of the daily specials. Something I learned this month is that cured meat + peach + mint + burrata works beautifully with toasted carbs. The crispy pancake I had at Stationæry couple weeks ago had this exact same combo, and while I do prefer the texture of the pancake, the grilled focaccia was also a good vessel for these toppings. Only dish I really enjoyed. Greek Bolognese / Cacio e Pepe – Both pastas were mediocre. Sauces were thin and oddly detached, like they just slid off the noodles and gave up. Not sure if they under-reduced or under-drained, but too watery and bland overall. Vodka Pizza (with crispy pancetta) – Regret adding the pancetta. Essentially a salt bomb with a grease trap underneath. The crust was just sturdy enough to survive, but had to tap out after two slices. Eggplant Basil Pizza – First time having eggplant on pizza without tomato sauce, and it kind of confirmed why tomato usually shows up. Mozzarella and basil weren’t enough to bring it to life.”
