Society Eatery & Lounge is a Mediterranean restaurant in the Burlingame neighborhood of Burlingame.
“Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, great Turkish tea, and really good hookah. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, and the vibe of the place was very cozy and stylish. Our waiter Ayaz was very friendly, attentive, and really listened to our preferences and requests. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing evening”
“Unexpected great find. Was early for a dinner reservation elsewhere, and decided drop in for a drink at the bar. From the moment we enter, the staff were extremely welcoming. Bar tender Uniss was super chill. I like my drinks "full bodied" and he was generous with the pours yet balanced. The Manhattan and Last Word were delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Definitely coming back for more.”
“We enjoyed a really nice evening here. We had the Anna Paul’s Turkish Pasta, Manti turkish dumpling, Kunefe for dessert and a bottle of White wine. The food was great and atmosphere was relaxing. We did not use the hookah lounge. We Would god back for sure.”
“Tonight, after a long and tiring day at work, I visited Society Restaurant & Hookah Lounge to relax—and it was the perfect choice. The place is beautiful, calming, and has such a great vibe with relaxing music. The staff were amazing: very kind, welcoming, and truly hospitable. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating; I personally love sitting outside, but since it was raining, I chose to sit inside and still had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend their kanafa and tea—they were incredibly delicious. This is a perfect spot to unwind, relax, and enjoy quality time. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“the place is definitely beautiful, the waitstaff are very attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. however, it's hard to understand the management staff inside. especially if you go early, i think the guy who runs the place is constantly yelling at and scolding the waiters. not only does it ruin the atmosphere, but if you're supposedly so concerned about maintaining a peaceful environment, then watching stories at full volume and playing computer games without headphones right there feels very strange to me. if this were a place that was extremely strict about professionalism, i could understand it and respect it. but i think the owners really need to take another look at this issue. we go there to unwind, enjoy ourselves, and chat with our friends. we go there to get away from the problems in our own lives. having someone shouting at someone else in that environment completely kills the vibe, and it's something that doesn't suit the quality of this place at all. handling issues with your staff this way shows more amateurism on your part than on the staff's. i had to say that. otherwise, both the hookah and the food are top-notch. but because of this, the whole atmosphere takes a hit, and it's become a place i go to much less often now.”
