“THIS PLACE! Was absolutely delicious from the fresh oysters that we devoured. To the Jonah crab and angel hair pasta and cast iron salmon! Mouthwatering and so full of flavor, PLEASE TRY THEM! the staff was caring and very attentive. Place is a total 10/10 I will be back soon… Tomorrow.”
“This place is really great. I made a reservation for an early supper; and, thankfully, their dinner service starts at 5pm. The staff are really kind and attentive. My waitress, Ingryd, was superb! For appetizers, I ordered the Caesar Salad with the crab dusted fries; and their signature "Presidential Jaques' to drink. For dinner, I had the Lobster Caccio e Pepe and the Shrimp & Pork Dumpling Plate with a Sauvignon Blanc for drinks. I spent around $200 but that's because I had a big appetite and Ingryd deserved a great tip. Each order is about 20 bucks, more or less. So a drink, an appetizer and a main dish will run you around $60-80 dollars; plus a tip, you might spend $100 per person. My only critique is, I would've preferred both my plates to come out together. Instead, the dumplings arrived first and the Caccio e Pepe took much longer. I didn't mind the wait, but I wanted to taste the dumplings with it together and they were cold & firm once the Caccio e Pepe did finally arrive. Maybe I should've had Ingryd tell the kitchen my preference. Nevertheless, the food was, as a whole, DELICIOUS and I definitely plan on returning again and again when I'm on campus! The lights are perfectly dimmed with a safron glow. The music is hip, current and chill- from Duran Duran to Mary J Blige- it was a total vibe! It's the perfect setting to unwind and refuel after a long day and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.”
“A must-visit for seafood lovers! Waypoint provided a delightful culinary experience, and I'd highly recommend it. Oyster: The $2 oyster special is a must-try. On the night of my visit, there were three local options and one from Canada. I particularly loved the creamy Massachusetts oyster, and the Canadian option was delightfully clear and meaty. Caviar & Donut: This dish was a bit disappointing, as the caviar flavor was quite mild. However, the donut holes were a fantastic surprise—freshly fried and perfectly delicious. Hamachi Crudo: This dish was excellent. The rich, oily hamachi was perfectly balanced by the spiciness of the jalapeño. Grilled Whole Branzino: This was the highlight of the night. The fish was grilled to perfection, with a wonderfully crispy skin that sealed in the fresh, moist meat. The accompanying side dishes were also delicious. They offer deboning service, but we opted to debone it ourselves—it wasn't too difficult, but it's a dish to be enjoyed carefully!”
“The food was incredible, there was so much going on in each dish. It was all about smaller sharable plates, so everyone got a bit of everything. The atmosphere was more casual than id expect, which was nice. The service was almost too fast, they didnt leave any anticipatory room between ordering and getting the food, so by the time we were done with our main meal only about 35 minutes had passed since we sat down (i liked this). Go here if you want phenomenal (and a bit expensive) food.”
“Visited this charming spot with my dear friend for happy hour oysters. We promptly ordered four dozen oysters and relished the experience. Despite initial concerns about a way too cheap price affecting the flavor, our worries were unfounded. We were both pleased with the delectable, flavorful oysters and had an enjoyable time at this restaurant. I look forward to returning for their tempting pizza.”
