“I ordered takeout on cinco de mayo, and I had such a great experience I had to leave a review! Unfortunately, it took a little while for my online order to go through, so I hung out while my order was being prepared. It was absolutely packed- I think I saw at least 30 groups come in to ask for a table while I waited. The hostess, Genesis, was outstanding. She was calm and SO kind the entire time- not only to me, but to every single person who came in. She went above and beyond for my order, but I was so impressed with her overall demeanor on such a crazy day that I couldn’t leave without leaving a review! Truly exceptional customer service!! Thank you to Genesis and the team!”

“We had a great time yesterday at antiquo! The quac was creamy and really flavorful. The margs, and tres leches were on pointe as well. We got to sample Anteel tequila in addition, and it rounded out the exceptional hospitality.”

“We went for a 1:30 PM lunch on a Sunday and were surprised that the restaurant was pretty empty… aside from our group of four, there were maybe about ten other people between the bar and outdoor seating. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The space is a VIBE! I’m giving the service 4⭐️ because we had to repeatedly ask for water refills, and when it came time to order drinks, I asked a question and placed my order, but the waitress walked away without taking drink orders from the rest of the table. Since the restaurant wasn’t busy, we found ourselves frequently trying to get her attention throughout the meal. Parking was easy on a nearby street, and the area is very walkable, which made for a nice stroll before and after lunch.”

“Lunch at Antiguo Lobo in downtown Chamblee turned out to be the perfect little lunch date. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately seated—always a great start. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but the weather was way too beautiful not to enjoy the patio. Service was quick and attentive. My server brought out warm chips and salsa right away—fresh, flavorful, and definitely a highlight while waiting for my meal. For lunch, I ordered the pollo lunch special, which came with Mexican rice and a generous portion of salad alongside well-seasoned, tender chicken. Everything was satisfying and well-portioned without feeling too heavy for midday. To top it off, I had a Mandarin Jarritos, which was the perfect refreshing touch. This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last—I’m already looking forward to exploring more of the menu.”

“Overall, it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t particularly memorable. I ordered the steak quesadilla ($18), which comes with beans, guacamole, and sour cream. The quesadilla itself was pretty bland and felt like it was missing something to really bring the flavors together. It just wasn’t very satisfying. The beans were also just okay—nothing special in terms of taste. My friend ordered the nachos, which looked great visually, but they also lacked depth of flavor and could have definitely used more cheese. Ironically, the highlight of the meal was the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips had a nice salty crunch, and the salsa was fresh and refreshing. One nice perk is that they’re dog-friendly and have outdoor seating, which is always a plus. I might come back if I’m in the area, but it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for.”
