“We made a reservation for 7 (2 kids and 5 adults) for a Wednesday night at 6 in June, which was helpful because it was getting busy. Other families with younger kids were wrapping up and groups of adults were coming in as we were finishing. The kids loved walking down to the dock to check out the boats, turtles, ducks, and catfish while we waited. We’ve sat on the covered patio before, but enjoyed the A/C this time. Cool mid-century modern vibe and very friendly staff from the hosts to the servers, bartenders and manager. Good variety of craft beer and food options. The ribs are great, and I enjoyed trying the curried fish sandwich. Great spot for an enjoyable dinner out (alone or on a date), especially for families and groups.”

“Decided to try this place from a recommendation from ai. Went with a guest at 2pm on Tuesday. Not to busy which is preferred. Our server was Luke, he was awesome. Great service, recommendations, suggestions and conversation. Really went the extra mile to make sure we were having a good time. I also appreciated how he as well as our host and the maitre D checked in with us throughout the whole meal. I realize during peak rush times with big crowds that’s not always possible but it shows to me the resturant cares and provides assurance. Food was great. We Ordered the mussels in tomato white wine sauce w/ grilled cheese + fries, the house pickles, blackened shrimp tacos and cauliflower steak and a lime slushie. Everything tasted great nothing really missed. I’d probably change to taco sauce to a cilantro lime creama versus the Baja that was provided but it’s a small personal critique, not major. So ya, great service great food and an enjoyable atmosphere. It’s hard to get by the water outside of lake Norman in the Charlotte area but I would come back again. Ask for luke M!”

“This is a super cute restaurant on Lake Norman. Their menu was not very exciting, but our food was good. The pickles were just ok. I had expected a little more than ok since it seemed like it was a special (to their menu) side. Most of our party ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which was more chicken than buffalo (spice). The service was slow. It took almost an hour to get coffee and about it 2 hours from arrival to departure. The restaurant itself was so cute with little seating areas and a Photo Booth. They seem to do a good business with about half the tables filled while we were there. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go again, but on a nice day it might be fun to be on the patio.”

“This place has the potential to be AMAZING. Amazing location, view, and vibe. The view of the lake is so relaxing!! Unfortunately they have entirely missed the mark. You walk into a desk that’s facing the wall, no one greeted or welcomed us in. Randomly seated by someone that seemed unsure. We had reservations for Valentine’s Day and were expecting a WOW experience. The waitress was amazing that we had, very knowledgeable about the menu and fast to what we needed. They were very attentive to my gluten intolerance (celiac) and bring me a GF menu but unfortunately that removed almost 75% of the menu. The appetizers were pretty good but the entrees we got were so low quality and felt like a drive thru meal. They do deceive you by naming things on their menu very high end “classy” names but nothing is high end about this place. It’s a low quality fish house on the lake with a great view but unfortunately the food isn’t even good. We left disappointed and spending $140+ on water, 2 appetizers, 2 sandwiches( 1 no bread due to GF). Not sure what demographic they are trying to cater to or what is happening. The menu and beautiful location is just poorly thought out. Jimmy John’s across the street is better. We unfortunately won’t be back!”

“The experience was different. You walk in and immediately feel like you might want to change your attitude towards the place. The entry was greeted as we were getting ready to be seated for a funeral. The staff just seemed to be willy nilly doing what needs to be done except making sure we were ready to order our food. Asked if we had a reservation as we did not but the entire inside had a very minimal customers seated which should have been a clue as to why are there not more people here at lunch? The food was good and had its own spin on items, no complaints. The overall feel was a little uncomfortable with very small tables especially for four people. Wish I could say we would return but it doesn't look promising. Price point is too much for the food we received.”
