“Impeccable service. They went above and beyond to answer questions and find the beat choices for us. And they left us alone for good lengths of time to enjoy our drinks and our meal instead of constantly stopping by and interrupting. But whenever we needed something, they were right there. Amazing rattlesnake pasta, super hot and fresh. The Mac n cheese was very creamy. Great burgers. They have amazing specials specials as well and delicious seafood.”

“My sorority sister and I met at J. Alexander's to celebrate her birthday. After going to several other restaurants, I was so happy we landed there. From the moment we walked in, we received excellent customer service. The atmosphere was clean, cozy and sophisticated. And the food - the food was outstanding!!! From the calamari cooked tenderly and well seasoned to the Rattlesnake pasta and the carrot cake. Hands down, this is new favorite go-to eatery. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“Good service and conveniently located. The food was good although I think it would have been much better served fresh at the restaurant. The ribs were our favorite and the Mac and cheese was great as well.”

“I would say a definite 4.2. Never been to J Alexander’s before and came highly recommended. The layout and ambiance is great for my personal preference. Really dark, dark accents, ambient lighting, multiple levels of dining including raised booths along the back wall. Service was prompt and friendly, the waitress immediately made a personal connection which made the rest of the evening exponential more fun and relaxed. This is a very straightforward restaurant so I understand everything on the menu, but with that being said I think it may be slightly limited, not anything unique or boundary pushing, but that’s not a bad thing. Cocktail menu/wine list was solid, but again just lacking anything really exciting and/or out there. Prime rib was good, calamari was good, all of the food was good. Anyways would recommend and would go again if in the area.”

“Carrot cake was AMAZING, wish I could order a whole cake. Shrimp appetizer was yummy, smoked salmon dip was good but red onions needed out, tasted very spicy. Mac N Cheese. Amazing. Chocolate martini good but very strong”
