Bar Lucca

“First time to Bar Lucca on Mothers Day did not start out too well. Our reservation was for 6:15 PM and at 6:45 we still were not seated. The host explained people were just hanging out at the table long after their bill was paid and he was most apologetic. When we were seated the staff surprised us by bringing the Burrata from the starter menu, which was fabulous. Next came the cheese & meat board. You can taste the quality in the meats and cheeses and it was paired with exactly the right accessory foods. I tried the Luna cocktail and was not disappointed. My dinner was Wild Boar Mafaldine cooked to perfection. It was hearty with so many flavors. My husband had the Bone in Pork Chop and swore it was the best he’s ever had. The Swiss chard added another layer of flavor to the entire dish. The other adults had pasta dishes and judging by the empty dishes I would say they were a hit. I cannot wait to go back not just to try other menu items but because the staff went above and beyond to apologize for a situation that was beyond their control. It shows they care about their customers.”

“Its our first time in this restaurant and we did not get dissapointed. The food was great, and what stand out this restaurant is the SERVICE. A very huge shout out to the Manager Ally and to our fabulous server. Its a busy restaurant and if you expecting a quite place, this is not for everybody else. The food are excellent, we had calamari, brussells sprouts and mussells for a starter and everything is so good, then for the main course, we had salmon. Outstanding menu recommendations and surprised us with unique and delicious Nutella donuts which were similar to beignets. This is place is fire. we are highly recommend this restaurant”

“The food was honestly really good. I ordered the mushroom ravioli the flavor was nice, but the broth was a little too watery for my taste. Other than that, the appetizers were great and everything tasted fresh. Our waiter, Aaron T., was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and made the experience much better. That alone is a big plus for the place. Overall, delicious food and great service. Just wish the ravioli broth had a bit more body, but I would definitely go back to try more dishes.”

“Bar Lucca was outstanding from start to finish. Patrick’s service was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and genuinely on point the entire night. Lauren was also incredibly supportive and made sure everything ran smoothly. The wild boar ragu was unforgettable, one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time, and the espresso martinis were perfectly crafted. Food was incredible, service was perfect, and the cocktails were delicious. Can’t wait to come back.”

“Bar Lucca has great food, and our server Marie was lovely but unfortunately the management has seriously declined over the past six months. This is the second time we’ve arrived on time for our reservation and been seated late—this time to an extreme degree. We were seated over an hour after our reservation with no acknowledgment or compensation. On top of that, they were out of multiple options on the menu. We would have left, but there were no other restaurants available. We were told to go upstairs and “help ourselves to a drink,” only to be met by a bartender who seemed frustrated and annoyed at having to serve us. The staff in general seemed overworked. I understand that it was busy, but there’s no acceptable reason to keep guests waiting over an hour past their reservation. Please be better, this used to be one of our favorites in the area.”
