“Always great. Service is impeccable. Staff is kind & knowledgeable. Decent wine list. Probably my favorite Italian in Dallas place so far. I really need to go for because I've been craving a meatball sub. I wish the offered it on the dinner menu. I digress. Five stars 🤩”
“One of the best meals of the year. Service was spectacular. Seated on time, no rush whatsoever, and just super comfortable. Party of 6 so we ordered almost every main. Chicken and veal parm were both legit. Standout was the linguini with the clams and spicy red sauce. So good. The spinach lasagna was lite and delicious. Tiramisu cannoli's were a nice surprise. Can't wait to go back.”
“Food, atmosphere, service 10/10. I little music would’ve been a nice touch but one of the best Cesar salads, lasagna and chicken parm town! And oh melt in your mouth chocolate cake.”
“We’ve driven past or walked by Barsotti’s hundreds of times. We finally decided to give it a try. We liked the style and ambiance of the interior. It felt cozy and open. Sitting on the side with the booths feels quieter and more private compared to the table seating which looked borderline cramped. The service felt familiar even though it was our first visit. It felt slow at times. The spaghetti and meatballs lives up to the billing. The noodles were cooked to the right amount of firmness. The meatballs tasted like grandma’s recipe. Flavorful and surprisingly light. The chicken parmigiana with pasta shells and vodka sauce was delicious. The sauce was rich and creamy. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed some really good Italian food.”
“I had lunch reservations at 2:30 PM and was surprised when the host immediately informed us that the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM. After being seated, our server repeated that we would need to order quickly because the restaurant was closing. From that point on, the entire meal felt rushed. At exactly 3:00 PM, the music was turned off, staff began leaving, and it was clear that they were waiting for us to finish and leave. It made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. If the restaurant has a strict 3:00 PM closing time, I don’t understand why reservations are available so close to that time in the first place. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. The eggplant parmesan was so watery that it resembled soup, and the lasagna bolognese consisted mostly of noodles and tomato sauce with very little substance. Considering the price point, the quality did not meet expectations. Overall, the combination of feeling rushed and the underwhelming food made for a poor experience. I left genuinely surprised by how disappointing the visit was and will not be returning.”
