Cool, outdoorsy pizza place with cocktails & brunch, plus an expansive turf-lined patio. The year-round patio and vibrant decor provides guests with a variety of unique dining experiences. There’s not a better combination of pizza, booze, vibes and happiness in the whole universe than what you'll get here.
“What a fun eatery!! Went on a sunny, Friday afternoon for lunch, scored a patio table with a large umbrella and were greeted by the best server ever…MJ! We really appreciated her humor and feedback on our food selections! Food was super tasty! We ordered the whipped feta with honey & pistachios…a Camper Favorite. I could have eaten this straight off of a spoon instead of the toasted pita and Seasoned French bread! We had the Nadine (pepperoni & ricotta) and the beef Birria (with a side of consomme’) - both were really fun & unique pizza combos!! Completed our meal with some warm, cinnamon/butter monster bread, which we were assured ‘had no calories at all’. Server quote 😂 So funny! Lots of seating options, (high tops, bar, picnic-style tables, booths and claw-foot tub love seats - so cute!) Street parking was ok for a Friday afternoon (though I imagine this is tricky during peak hours). I look forward to going again, during dusk or evening hours - to enjoy all the twinkle lights and the disco ball in the middle of the patio! TY Happy Camper, for a delightful lunch experience!”
“Happy Camper Pizza had the most laid back, fun vibe of anywhere we ate in Denver. The servers were all super friendly and the atmosphere was just very fun and relaxed. I got the Curt Pizza which was a delicious choice. They have a fun cocktail menu too, but there's nothing better with pizza to me than a cold craft beer. We enjoyed lunch and wish that we would have had time to come back for dinner and live music one night but maybe next time.”
“The parking situation is HORRENDOUS. The ambience and vibe of this place was great!! Super upbeat and definitely a party spot. It reminded me of Scottsdale. The food was amazing! The drinks were strong and great. It seemed like there weren’t enough servers on so the service was kind of lacking but our server was super cool so it made up for it. The Nadene pizza is to die for!”
“It was a bit loud and no gentle breeze from a fan near us. Plus the waitress had so many tables it took her a bit to get to us (great waitress for sure, but more support needed for the staff). The appetizer came out after one of the pizzas 😔. But the food was great!!”
“The Matt with red sauce is excellent and definitely a highlight. The Buffalo Chicken, unfortunately, missed the mark for me. The Parmesan fries and mozzarella sticks were good—though it’s worth noting the mozzarella sticks are more like breadsticks topped with mozzarella rather than the traditional battered kind. The birria pizza was just okay; the consommé tasted more like chili beans than expected. On the positive side, the chicken strips were really good, especially paired with the fries. The Hawaiian pizza was also enjoyable. My favorite appetizer was the elote dip! The shark coochie board was very mid, but the jam was really good! It was pretty though. The atmosphere is fun and visually cool, but it was much louder than I prefer. Our waitress was fine and seemed busy, which is understandable. The biggest downside overall was the off-street parking—it was very difficult to find a spot. Overall really fun!”
