“I have lived here several years and walked by 100 times, but this was my first visit. More than meets the eye from the street. Quality food and presentation with good variety. Quiet private atmosphere. Extensive wine list and attentive polite staff. Clean and convenient. We will be back.”
“One of my favorite restaurants in Durango. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is consistently friendly, and the menu offers a good variety of well prepared dishes. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality makes it worthwhile.”
“Service, atmosphere, food. Everything was excellent!!!! Our server, Candice, was superb!! Would go back in a minute!!”
“We stumbled upon this place when the place we had picked out was actually busy. The atmosphere is fantastic. Brick walls. Offset lighting. Fantastic ambience. Serving staff was extremely professional. We had a serve by the name of Nick. But as we looked around the restaurant and noticed their entire staff and Chef crew in the back that you can see from your table are very professional. Very unique for a tourist town. We chose the Chimayo bread for an appetizer. It was fantastic. Way better than Texas roadhouse dinner rolls with a very unique butter/honey Spread. My wife shows the cauliflower steak. Extremely well prepared. Cauliflower was a 1 inch stick slice of cauliflower with roasted cherry tomatoes, zucchini, wedge, tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, and a very nice light seasoned sauce on top. Fantastic. I chose the flatbread steak sandwich because of the reviews and the recommendation by the server. It was also fantastic. Made with their pizza dough. Stuffed with roasted bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, steak and a very nice sauce. Like a calzone except that the bread wasn't closed over. It was fantastic. .”
“We were excited to try this place. The atmosphere and the food looked unique and we decided the wood-fired pizza was what we wanted for dinner. We had to get on the wait list and ended up waiting about half an hour to get in. We were seated right away, but then waited almost 15 minutes for our server to come get our drink order. It had taken so long to see the server, that we thought we would order right away just to get our order in. I am allergic to nuts, but the pistachio pizza looked so good, we just ordered it without the nuts. We asked if it was appropriate for 2 to share, and the server said, "probably". He suggested an appetizer so we ordered the cornbread. Meanwhile, we had been seated right inside the door and there was a table behind us who had obviously been there a while. Lots of beer glasses and to-go boxes. They were so loud and used foul language over and over. It doesn't really offend me, but I was thinking about the families with kids sitting right next to them. Ugh. It took almost 20 minutes just to get our cornbread. It was very good. Then, we waited and waited. After being there for almost an hour, a woman came with salmon without nuts. We both said, "No, we ordered pizza without nuts," She looked confused but left. Shortly thereafter, our server came back and said he had mistakenly put in the salmon but could get our pizza ordered. He apologized and said he could get us a free appetizer or get the beer taken off our bill. We decided to just go somewhere quick as it was already after 8pm. When I got the bill, nothing had been adjusted. No discount, no items removed. Nothing. And no apologies for the bill. So disappointed. Ended up paying $40.00 for an appetizer, 1 beer and a soda.”
