“Our family had dinner at Eolus last night, and it was one of those rare experiences where the food, service, and atmosphere all exceeded expectations. We started with the crab cake and artichoke appetizer, followed by the Wagyu burger, salmon, and fried chicken. Every dish was outstanding. The lemon yuzu cocktail was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the apple wine dessert was a memorable finish to the meal. What truly set Eolus apart, though, was the service. It was exceptional without ever feeling intrusive. We actually started joking about how quickly our water glasses were refilled—every time we looked down, they were full again. The kids’ drinks were consistently refreshed as well. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great experience. The night before, we spent a similar amount at another restaurant in Ouray, and according to our kids, Eolus was “100% better.” Honestly, it’s hard to disagree. We’ve dined at Michelin-rated restaurants before, and Eolus delivered the same attention to detail and hospitality that makes those experiences memorable. It’s not often you find a restaurant that nails atmosphere, service, and food all at the same time. If you’re looking at the menu and wondering whether something is outside your comfort zone, order it anyway. The kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. My only regret? Not ordering the duck. I guess that just gives me a reason to come back.”

“Eolus is TOP NOTCH. Both the food and service are amazing. I haven't been in 5 years but it is as good as I remember. I LOVE duck and this is as good as it gets. Hard to find Duck Two Ways but the have it here- duck breast and confit leg. Both exceptional. Great service from bartender Max who made me a delicious Rye Boulevardier (Negroni with whiskey instead of gin). Beautiful spot. Will be back next year🙏”

“Dinner was fantastic! I had scallop special which was incredible (5 scallops!!) and my friend had the lobster burger (forgot to get pic). We both loved our meals. Got this delicious pistachio ice cream on chocolate cake w/ meringue (can’t remember name, but see pic!). Everything was so well done and delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere was perfect on a Wednesday evening .”

“Loved the food. Fresh herbs, flowers, local meat and cheese all expertly prepared. Our waiter was on-it! He carried our special diet preference forward throughout the meal without needing to be asked as we ordered additional items. Roof top seating is a delight!”

“Orion our waiter was awesome and James the manager was nice. Our food was fabulous. Love the scallops, pork belly, and my ceaser salad with glass potato and we ordered the anchovies because I like the dark anchovies. I really can’t remember the history of this building, but the brick was fabulous. You can even see the outlines of where the old window used to be. They had a great deck upstair, plenty of seats with some Misters. I WOULD RECOMMEND”
