Trattoria Villagio is an Italian restaurant in the Clifton neighborhood of Clifton.
“Apart from the crammed parking near the building everything about this place knocks it out the park. Was able to try a bit of everything from family’s plates and dessert. My favorite was the lasagna but any option on the menu is fantastic. Not a dish you’ll find subpar The atmosphere is lovely with running water outside shade everywhere and Interior gives you an old classic but very clean vibe. A nice place for special occasions.”
“This is our favorite go-to spot for a nice dinner in beautiful Clifton. The staff is always wonderful - young talent it trained up well, knowledgeable, and very attentive! We always start off with their oysters which are always fresh, well shucked and presented nicely. Their spicy seafood pasta (my go to) and crab pasta special were fantastic. Another amazing staple on their menu is the short-rib ragout and their mussels. For dessert I can recommend their chocolate cake, crème brûlée, cheesecake, or apple strudel accompanied by their affogato (which is a dessert within itself). Make a reservation for the patio; you will not be disappointed!”
“Trattoria Villagio is a winner! There are only a few places that hit every mark, and Trattoria Villagio is one of those places. The handcrafted drinks, fresh ingredients, wide array of menu options, beautiful decor and looks of the space, beautiful outdoor patio and exceptional service all hit the very top of the scale. I would be a regular customer if I lived in this area. The drive to get here is beautiful as well as the quaint little town that it is situated here. Parking was slightly difficult, but after a couple passes, we found a spot. They serve fresh raw oysters that were exceptional and every dish that I had the pleasure of eating was such a wonderful experience.”
“The weather was so nice that I ate at an outdoor table. The atmosphere was the best. The server was also very kind. But forgot to change the cheese on my pasta. (I saw another table and knew it) The wine was good, and the mussel food was also delicious, The lip eye steak was really soft and delicious. But The pasta is too cooked. Next time I go, I'll ask to cook a little less. I want to go again on a nice day. I like Cliftton. + At first, I got the lunch menu. When I asked if I could eat steak He also gave me a dinner menu! Thank you!”
“Great atmosphere outside in the rear. The food is decent with great cheese. The steak panini tasted like downgraded Philly cheesesteak. Their carbonara sauce was good, but the noodles almost felt like Japanese ramen noodles. I thought it was homemade and had high expectations for them, but I think I could have replicated it using top ramen noodles…”
