“Love this place! We were excited to come back and managed to get a reservation on the first day they reopened on April 20. Despite a limited menu due to being closed for the winter, everything we got was delicious and we will be back! Plus, the complimentary hush puppies are always a hit.”

The food was excellent — everything was clearly fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors really stood out. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s one of those places where you can tell they genuinely care about the dining experience. Overall, a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in the area, and I’m looking forward to coming back again.”

“I recently hosted a Bridal Shower at Sugar Hill. The venue itself is beautifully located on the river. From the courtyard, the view is just glistening water and beautiful boats. The food choices were unique and all very good, no complaints were heard. What stood out to me was the staff that acted as a team the entire day, the vibe was so chill and zero stress , which is what this Mother of the Bride needed.!! They were beyond helpful, even noticing a group of girls unloading boxes of decorations from their cars and the staff was right there to carry everything in and also helping to pack us up. There was constant light chatter and laughter, telling us we were doing a great job with decorations and making suggestions, changing tables multiple times with no hesitation! Their professionalism, cheerfulness, attitude and eagerness to help isn’t really seen too much anymore, unfortunately, but honestly just put us all at ease so we were able to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Thank you so much!!”

“My sister had her wedding at Sugar Hill this weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! Even with the intense summer heat, everything was beautifully set up and ran so smoothly. The staff went above and beyond. They were attentive, kind, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, drinks were refreshing, and the upstairs suite where we got ready was both stunning and (thankfully) wonderfully air-conditioned lol. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset, and the kids kept themselves occupied in the sand area! I have been a Mays Landing resident my whole life, and I can confidently say that Sugar Hill is such a gem, especially during the summer! Highly recommend! 10/10!”
