Good Ground Tavern

“We went to Good Ground Tavern today for Happy Hour to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We were a party of 6 and intended to go there to sit in the garden with our drinks. The staff were so incredibly helpful & accommodating. We LOVED it and will absolutely be back! What a gem of a spot! Having lived out here as a summer resident for 15 years it’s so nice to have a spot so beautiful & accommodating. Spicy Tuna was one of the best I’ve ever had. Pizza was excellent. Caviar Dip was lovely. Wine was excellent! My only comment would be wine & sparkling rose could have been colder. Oden & Hunter took great care of us! Wonderful staff. Beautiful spot. First trip of many!”

“We had a wonderful dinner at GG. Service was warm and attentive, interior was comfortable, and the new menu was delicious. We especially enjoyed the scallops and the duck. Bonus points for the cocktails - the Shiso Pretty was excellent. I am excited to return when the weather warms up and the patio opens.”

“Up in the area for a week-long vacation from down south and not too sure about where to go for good dining options. This was recommended to us by a local and we went for lunch and had a great experience. Service was really friendly and quick and all of our meals were delicious... standout for me was the caesar salad (I add chicken). We are coming back this week for dinner and the property has a garden area to get drinks and hang out before dinner. Would definitely recommend!”

“Beautiful setting and atmosphere. Food was very good. Unfortunately the timing of our dinners were all off and my wife didn’t eat dinner as the rest of the family’s food was served so we had to take hers home. No apologies or anything so that part was truly disappointing but I hope they can get that organized and it has some real promise to be a great spot.”

“I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I really have no choice. This was probably the worst breakfast in the Hamptons in 25 years. The eggs Benedict I ordered were ok, but the salmon, was extremely salty and old ,and the "home fries " that came with it were oily ,hard ,and tasted like they were cooked the day before. And this is very unfortunate, considering that this place is fairly new , very nicely designed,and comfortable. But Unfortunately,I don't think I will be coming back ...”
