“We had an incredible meal and top notch service at Harper‘s Table! We eat kosher and that is very challenging with Southern cuisine. The manager talked us through things, even gave us education about pork lard that is used for certain dishes. I loved learning this because now I know what to ask at other establishments! The steak was unbelievably well prepared.. worth every penny!! My husband’s trout tasted fresh and not farmed. We absolutely love to support our local farm-to-table restaurants. It is akin to supporting local farmers… hugely important in this crazy world we’re living in right now! We will absolutely be returning. We highly recommend this establishment.”

“Never a bad day at Harper’s Table!! We have been here for lunch, dinner, after a golf game, on a weekend, weeknight, dropped in for cocktails with friends. Food and atmosphere is always fantastic 🤩 Our favorites are the quiche, fried oysters, smash-burger, tiger shrimp + grits, crispy Brussel sprouts, and so much more. There’s also something to say about their ultra addictive French fries, wow!”

“WOW. 10/10. This was our first time at Harper's table.As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly hostess and the vibes were great. Our server was extremely knowledgable on the menu/drinks, friendly, and attentive. We got the fried oysters, pork belly biscuit, chespeake bay flounder, and ribs. Every thing was amazing. You can tell how thought out every dish is from the presentation to the taste. My husband and I both agreed this was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time and it may just be our new favorite restaurant !”

“Almost EVERYTHING is created here or sourced from local farmers. We have been to Harper’s Table a number of times since they’ve opened and each time we have enjoyed their wonderful fare. They’ve started serving lunch a while ago, and my daughter and I enjoyed the lunch menu today. I had the Boardwalk Empire - focaccia with salami, mozzarella, arugula, oregano and vinaigrette. The waitress said everything was made “in-house”. Very tasty! My daughter had the Windhaven Smash Burger with White American, onion jam, shallot mayo. Wonderful! To cap it off - we had Vanilla Crème Brûlée for dessert. Scrumptious! Check out Harper’s Table! You’ll not be disappointed.”

“Lovely date night spot in charming downtown Suffolk! Park in the back and enjoy the short walk. Reservations online are recommended. I ordered the mole poblano beef shank with creamy polenta was incredible—tender, rich, perfect heat. My boyfriend’s shrimp and grits with that buttery creole sauce disappeared in minutes (best he’s ever had). Finished with warm apple cake (which the apples were locally picked) and homemade vanilla ice cream—heaven. Cozy, unique decor and a private back table made it extra intimate. Highly recommend! We’ll be back soon.”
