“The best thing Tacos y Tequila does is create ambience with Mexican dinners served in a gorgeous casual and modern environment, right down to its dinnerware. The dinner service, however, is made a bit less illustrious with staff whose personalities are mostly invisible. The food is good, yet out of 3 times dining there, I've never raved over it. The presentation of the food, however, is impressive. The enchiladas and pineapple rice are good. The margaritas are good. Authentic and well-crafted. The lunch special prices look great and more affordable. I would like to try them and experience the day-time service.”

“Not good for takeout. Food was cold and wet when i picked it up. No forks or napkins. I was driving through town and would arrive at 10:45. I was not able to set a pickup time besides “ASAP” and I didnt know when they stopped taking orders (i called them 3 times with no answer) so i ordered 30 min ahead. I specifically chose items not covered in sauce (fajita quesadilla and steak taco) as i was going to be eating while driving, but when i picked it up, the bottoms of both boxes were wet so the tortillas were soaking wet and dripping. No forks in the bag so i had to eat it with my hands anyway, and no napkins so i had a dripping wet hand after”

“Gross. Why is food in the Upper Valley so consistently mediocre. I ordered a standard burrito. I asked for no cheese sauce over the top as described on the menu. I asked for "some" queso blanco in the burrito. I was served half a pound of cheese dip inside the burrito. There was twice as much cheese as there was chicken. It was absolutely gross. Our vegetarian entree was served without the beans - i.e. zero protein. Oops? Our server, who turned out to also be the manager, served us our meals from his right hand, while still on a Facetime call in his left hand. He remained on that call for the balance of our dinner. We eventually had to stand up and flag down another server to get our bill and get out. This was my third time at this restaurant. Each time I was hoping it would be better the next. I'm done.”
