“I'm an event planner who just helped with my husband's holiday party at City Bistro and I am so happy with the outcome! Ashleigh was super easy to communicate with during pre-planning. Fast replies to emails, easy to understand next steps etc. And when I arrived onsite this past Friday I was so happy to see our private room. We were 14 in a cozy space on the 2nd fl. It had one long table and a large built in bar. The holiday decorations made everything festive. Perfect setting. And I can't say enough about, Sebastian, our bartender / server that night. He was so personable, accommodating and efficient. He really made our night. Finally the food was perfect. Plentiful, delicious, well presented etc. I highly recommend this restaurant!”
“Went here on a whim one night. We sat at the bar. Good cocktails and food. It was a bit odd I thought that there were like 3 different menus. But the food was yummy.”
“Service was cool, the food was delicious, the music wasn't really for us but not a deal breaker. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich. We ate on the rooftop which was a bit smaller than I thought but it was still very nice. My husband got beef tacos for an appetizer and they were so good! I say that because I normally don't care for steak tacos but they thin sliced the steak which was golden!”
“Great place for dinner, brunch or just a drinks in uptown Hoboken.”
“Calling out a problem that needs to be addressed. I ordered a bourbon neat. The bartender asked me if I would like to make it a double. I agree. The pours are measured in a jigger. When the bill comes I get charged for 2 drinks and a extra $4 for a neat pour. COME ON!!! If you are offering a double pour it's assumed there will be a minor discount for accepting it in single drink. Beyond that - when you are measuring your alcohol why are you charging an extra $4 for a neat pour? Give me the ice and charge me less. Best part of all of this. This happened on a Tuesday when I was one of 10 people there. Poor service, and poor business tactics. You lost a customer.”
