“Bayou Heights is an all-time favorite of ours and a go-to spot for great drinks and bites, casual hangs, and an overall awesome time. Don’t believe the negative reviews - I’m truthfully kind of shocked by some of them. If you’re looking for a clubby-bar, this is not that type of place. This is also a bar-first with small bites, not a restaurant. It is, however, an awesome sit-down bar that’s perfect for catching up with friends over high quality cocktails with a lovely atmosphere and scenery, complete with gorgeous firepits and rod iron fixtures. They also offer arguably one of the best happy hours in Houston for the amount of cocktail options on their menu and the price point. Some of my favorites on the menu are the Bayou Sour - which is perfectly balanced and a glass of foamy deliciousness, and the Left on Read - which is a great option for people that don’t love spirit-forward drinks, among many others. The coffee house is also lovely! It is well maintained, clean, and the service is always professional, friendly, and helpful with recommendations. There truly is something for almost everyone at Bayou Heights, and it remains one of our frequent haunts. Don’t knock it til you try it!”

“Parking Is horrendous, had to settle for parking across the fence at buffalo wings. If you have heels do not park there because you will have to go through the mud. There odd a lot of seating with multiple fans for those who get hot. But all of the seating is basically outdoors. There is some indoor and bar seating but it’s all open. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars because despite not receiving my order correctly the bartender was nice enough to give us another full order. Something I did not find enjoyable was the cleaning crew taking my food before I was done. Other than that it is a nice atmosphere for 9-5 cooperate 30 year olds”

“If you are looking to have a good drink this is a great spot! If you are looking for anything else out of a bar this is not your spot. The bartender was rude that was taking our order and it was just kind of a boring bar. the music is to loud so you can’t talk but then again everyone is just sitting and talking. I’m not sure what vibe they are going for but it wasn’t the best.”
