“A must visit for old Hyderabad pub scene. Very beautiful interiors and classic old pub food. Chilli cheese toast and spicy chicken a must try. Good pizzas and Chinese food as well.”
“We had been to 10 downing few times . It was very good, Value for money, tasty food. Only thing they should give some fancy drink and dessert with the combo. It was lime soda , mojito and dessert icecream two normal flavours. The attraction of the combo meal is the drink and dessert. So please make it a point to come.out with few more options. Lunch time the place was not to crowded, and we had good family time.”
“10 Downing Street in Begumpet is a great place to hang out for food, drinks, and live music. It’s easy to find, right next to the Begumpet Metro Station on the ground floor of My Home Tycoon building. The place is spacious and comfortable. We ordered Fried Fish & Chips, Chicken Junglee, and Sandwich, and mocktails Caribbean Exotica and Downing Special. The food tasted good and the mocktails were great, you can feel the flavours. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience. Overall, it’s a cozy and convenient place to unwind, enjoy some music, and have a meal.”
“⭐ 1/5 – Premium Prices, Poor Experience I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at 10 Downing Street, Begumpet, deserves a serious warning for both customers and management. The biggest concern was the food. The quality was extremely average for the prices being charged. This is a venue that positions itself as a premium establishment, yet the food served was basic and failed to justify the cost. More importantly, I personally experienced food poisoning symptoms after eating here, which raises serious questions about food handling, storage, and hygiene standards. Food safety is not something customers should ever have to worry about, and I hope the management treats this matter seriously. The entry policy is equally disappointing. Charging ₹1,200 per person while allowing only ₹1,000 to be redeemed makes little sense considering the ambience, facilities, and overall experience being offered. It feels more like a compulsory surcharge than a genuine cover charge. The music was another major letdown. Extremely loud music does not automatically make a good DJ. The sound levels were uncomfortable, conversations were nearly impossible, and the music selection itself was far from impressive. Hospitality venues should create an enjoyable atmosphere, not force customers to shout over speakers throughout the night. Visitors should also be aware of the timing issue. The venue continues accepting food and drink orders around 12:40 AM but expects customers to finish everything and leave by 1:00 AM. Taking orders and payments so close to closing time while simultaneously rushing guests out is unfair and unprofessional. If the kitchen or venue is about to close, customers should be informed before orders are accepted. What concerns me most is the overall approach to customer experience. Hospitality is about providing value, comfort, transparency, and respect. Unfortunately, this venue appears more focused on maximizing revenue than delivering a quality experience. Premium pricing comes with premium responsibility, especially regarding food safety, service standards, and customer treatment. I strongly urge the management to review their food safety practices, billing policies, sound levels, and closing-time procedures. Until meaningful improvements are made, I cannot recommend this venue to friends, families, or anyone looking for a pleasant night out. Spend your money elsewhere. Hyderabad has many establishments that offer better food, better service, better value, and a far greater respect for their customers.”
“⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely Disgraceful Experience Without a doubt, this was one of the worst pub experiences I have ever had in Hyderabad. We were a group of five friends meeting after several months, looking forward to spending quality time together. Unfortunately, 10 Downing Street, Begumpet, turned what should have been a memorable evening into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Let’s start with the cover charges. One of our friends arrived before 8 PM and reserved a table, yet the rest of us were still forced to pay cover charges. To make matters worse, they charged ₹1,200 per person while only ₹1,000 was redeemable. Charging an extra ₹200 per person for absolutely nothing feels like a blatant money-making tactic rather than a customer-friendly policy. The food was mediocre and overpriced. There are countless places nearby offering far better quality and value for money. The DJ was another disaster altogether. The music was unbearably loud, poorly curated, and completely ruined any chance of having a conversation. It felt more like noise pollution than entertainment. However, the biggest problem is the attitude of the staff. The moment you pay your bill, you are treated as if your presence is an inconvenience. Despite spending over ₹3,000 per person, we received absolutely no respect or consideration. Customer service seemed non-existent. What shocked us most was their complete lack of professionalism. They continued taking food and drink orders close to closing time, happily accepting payment, only to start pushing customers out shortly afterward. If you are closing, stop taking orders. It is unacceptable to take customers’ money and then rush them out before they can finish what they paid for. The entire experience felt like a business focused solely on extracting money from customers rather than providing hospitality. Poor service, questionable billing practices, average food, an unbearable DJ setup, and a complete lack of respect for paying guests. After spending thousands of rupees, we left feeling cheated, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. Not a single member of our group had anything positive to say by the end of the night. There are far better pubs in Hyderabad that value their customers and understand the meaning of hospitality. This place does neither. Avoid the disappointment. Save your money, save your time, and choose literally any other venue.”
