“I’ve eaten at countless restaurants over the years, but nothing could have prepared me for the experience I had here. From the moment we walked through the door, it felt less like dining out and more like being welcomed into a carefully orchestrated event where every detail mattered. The food was outstanding, but what truly set this visit apart was the atmosphere created by the team. Every interaction felt genuine, every request was met with urgency and kindness, and the entire evening flowed flawlessly despite how busy the restaurant was. It was the kind of experience that reminds you how memorable great hospitality can be. Some meals are forgotten by the next day. This one deserves to be commemorated with a plaque, documented in local history books, and remembered as the gold standard for customer service. If you're looking for a dining experience that goes far beyond simply eating a meal, this is the place. I only wish I could give more than five stars. Well done by all.”

“I came to Kona Grill for the first time after seeing so many good reviews. The Wagyu fried rice was honestly one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve ever had. The chicken skewers were also good, and the pasta was surprisingly delicious. At first, I was a bit shocked by the prices, but the food definitely feels worth it. The staff didn’t seem particularly friendly, but there was nothing negative about the service either. The interior feels a little dated, but I can imagine the atmosphere being really nice at night.”

“Nice atmosphere overall. The food was decent but a bit overpriced. Went on a Sunday night and the place wasn’t busy, service wasn’t the fastest. We ordered the angry edamame, sliders, and wagyu fried rice. The edamame was spicy 🥵 but good. The sliders were not overloaded with sauce and tasted good also. The wagyu was with normal fried rice and some pieces of fatty steak.”

“Upon arrival, no one was present at welcoming booth. I’m assuming who showed up eventually was the manager, he welcomed us and got us the menu. He offered the menu to who I’m guessing is the hostess ( she didn’t seem happy) and she guided us to the seat where we waited for approximately 6-8 minutes before our server got to us. We gave our order and the food came out in a timely manner. Food was okay, but nothing to run home and brag about. Price for everything didn’t match the portion and quality of the food. My sea bass was greasy and tasted bland. I’m kinda disappointed.Only thing I was okay with was the appetisers. And even then, I have had better for cheaper. Maybe they having an off day on Valentine’s Day, which shouldn’t be an issue because the restaurant was empty.”

“Came to Kona Grill on a snowy Sunday night for dinner with my sister. It was relatively quiet because most people I'm assuming decided to stay cozy inside. We started off with having the spicy shrimp tempura and that was not a hit. We did not enjoy it. Something about the taste threw us off. Then we got the crab crunch rolls which was okay but I've honestly had better sushi at Shop Rite. Then for my meal I wanted something light so I got the Asian Salad. The Asian Salad wasn't too bad but overall the food did not taste fresh to me. The restaurant just did not give cleanliness in terms of the smell so I think that contributed to me not enjoying my food as much. It had this old smell to it and then I went to use the women's bathroom and the floor was super sticky. Like it looked clean but when I was walking my shoes were sticking to the bathroom floor. Our booth was nice and roomy but the sits had some tears in it. Overall I will say that the restaurant looks decent but there are things that contributed to the unattractiveness for me personally. I guess if the food was fire the other stuff wouldn't have bothered me as much. You definitely tend to notice more things when the food isn't too good. As for the service, the service was AWESOME our waitress was super nice and friendly. So I will say the service was great.”
