“My sister and her wife treated me and mom to brunch. It was great. I got homemade corned beef hash. Mom got the Ruben sandwich. Also brought her a birthday pie.”
“This place is amazing. As soon as you walk in, your nose and eyes are welcomed by sugary goodness-ness-ness. They have so many desserts, it kinda inspires you to bury up with your meal to get to the dessert menu. (Which you have to scan to get to). The hostess sat is down rather quickly (not in a rush, just no wait at all). Here we meet Robyn, the lovely and ever so sweet and attentive server for the evening. She loves her job - she carries herself pleasantly and notices everything. Biscottis has a real treasure in her. She helped guide us through all the wonderful options. She settled us on the Meatball pizza, the Goat cheese salad, The double smash burger, the baked macaroni and cheese and the 2-base charcuterie board. Mag-nu-feek! I just couldn't get enough of this Calabrian chili honey from the charcuterie board. The double smash burger had this cheese that pulled the buns and burger together so exquisitely. They have some combination that Isn't resembling of any a other pizza place with their pizza. I had to say this pizza tastes fancy- good. Like someone who loves you made it for you. When it came to dessert, we got the bread pudding (best seller), peanut butter mousse and lemon key lime. I can speak for bread pudding. It's a total blind spot attacker. It looks so innocent. Instead, it's the John Wick of Biscottis!”
“Biscottis in Jacksonville’s Avondale neighborhood is one of those restaurants that immediately feels like a local favorite the moment you walk in. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and seated right away, and the room had a great energy with people clearly enjoying everything from brunch to casual gatherings with friends. One thing that immediately catches your eye is the bakery display filled with incredible cakes and desserts. If you have a sweet tooth, this place will absolutely get your attention. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and I have to say this was one of those rare moments where the first bite tells you everything you need to know. The crust was perfectly balanced, the filling was rich and silky, and the flavor combination was exceptional. It was so good we gave it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best award, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. I ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with the house made white cheddar hash browns and they were fantastic. The pancakes had a warm sweetness that made them incredibly satisfying, and the hash browns were crisp with just the right amount of cheesy richness. Another thing worth mentioning is that Biscottis has the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, which means they support local farmers, sustainable practices, and high quality ingredients. If you are looking for a great brunch spot, a relaxed date night restaurant, or a place to meet friends for amazing food, Biscottis should absolutely be on your list. Take a look at the photos and you will understand why.”
“Cute brunch spot that's now known for their cakes than their savory dishes. The lump crab eggs benedict was good, but I probably should have gotten a better knife because the bread was extremely hard to cut, so the eggs benedict just fell apart really quickly. The best thing I tried was their house made pork sausage. Cake slices were absolutely massive and a bit too sweet. Reservations were easy to book the night before. Service was friendly, and prices were reasonable for the location.”
“1st time trying this restaurant. Recommended by a friend, I ordered the salmon sandwich which looks really good but the piece of salmon is soooo small that it's mostly bread. I also ordered a side of fries. Im not too sure if they ran out of fries or what but they literally gave me 10 fries lol. I highly regret wasting my money on the fries. I would have rather tried something else on the menu.”
