“This was my first time here. First impressions were good. Very busy and bustling restaurant. The service was very attentive although our water was not refilled until we requested. Prices were very reasonable. My cannelloni was only $20 which included a soup or salad. The tomato sauce was probably one of the best I've tasted and I will definitely be going back. My only complaint would be the house salad was rather lackluster with only 1 slice of tomato and some of the lettuce was rather bitter. Overall a very nice dining experience and I will look forward to going back.”
“If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with heart and history, Vito’s is truly one of a kind. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beautiful decor that celebrates generations of family tradition. The photos and personal touches throughout the restaurant make it feel warm, welcoming, and genuinely special — like you’re being invited into someone’s home rather than just dining out. The food is just as memorable as the atmosphere. The Vito’s Salad is an absolute must — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Alla Rosa is rich, comforting, and full of authentic Italian taste that keeps you coming back for another bite. And you cannot skip a side of their meatballs — tender, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made from a cherished family recipe. To top it all off, treat yourself to a limoncello for dessert. It’s the perfect bright, refreshing finish to an incredible meal. Vito’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience rooted in tradition, family, and truly outstanding food. Highly recommend! 🇮🇹✨”
“Been in Jax for a year and finally made it to Vito's. We'll be back soonly. Had a reservation and seated quickly. Loved the atmosphere. Dim lighting, white table clothes. Nothing off the scale too fancy. It was all very comfortable. Tables all taken, servers all over. The first thing I noticed were the servers ... the were all busy and taking care of tables. None were idle. Started w/ house Chianti and fried ravioli. Both great ... raviolis were huge. Red sauce served with it was the house marinara. It was perfect ... and I'm a big red sauce guy. We followed with a Vito salad and a Caesar. Both the right size and the Vito dressing was good. For entrees I had Chicken Picata. My wife had chicken saltimbocca. This was the highlight of my meal. Two lightly browned cutlets over a bed of spaghetti. Not too many capers and not overly salty which is always a risk. It was perfect! One of the best I've had. My wife had enough to take home for lunch today. We held our ground on the bread and dessert as we are trying to watch carbs pending a wedding. Major kudos to Anthony our server. A genuinely nice guy. Answered our questions, super attentive, always there at the right moment. The place has a new number one fan! I'll be back! Total bill before tip [two glasses of wine, appetizer, two salads, two entrees] just over $90. Very well worth it!”
“We had a great experience here. Our server was Alana and she was great. What a great place with a great vibe. We loved the piano. Very nice, our food and service was exceptional. The manager/owner even came out to chat with us. I highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure.”
“Well this is one of the three sisters who run Italian Restaurants in Jacksonville Florida. One near 295, another off Phillips and Vito's. Of the three Vito's is the best of all three that are 5 ⭐ offerings. Let's stay with Vito's. Getting into the somewhat limited parking area can be a challenge but well worth the effort. Our party of seven made reservations, which we strongly recommend you do. Service and hospitality were great with great folks looking like they enjoyed working there. We ordered drinks, all were perfect. Appetizers of Calamari, stuffed mushrooms, compresie salad were all 5 ✨. Salad's are great and fresh. Dinners from Veal Parm, Veal Fransie, Fetachine Alfredo, Clams Scampi and more were all fresh and delicious. Desert's of Lemon Chello, cheese cake and more were perfect. Other than the place is a bit loud will keep this as one of our top 5 Jacksonville restaurants.”
