“If I could give them 10 stars I would! It was an exceptional experience from the seating to desert. Our server, Megan, was knowledge and a very sweet young lady! My daughter had a Negroni and I had a Sure-Bet. We ordered a pasta with sausage in a cream sauce, not doing description justice, and the Salmon Trentino and the Tiramisu for desert. I do believe this is the BEST food I've ever eaten! The service, from seating to paying, was the best! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The also have a pizza type restaurant downstairs, and, if it's anything like Sagra, it's awesome!!”

“SAGRA Food and Wine was honestly such a great experience. Perfect spot for a cozy, more upscale date night in La Crosse without feeling overly formal. I ordered a seafood pasta with noodles I had never seen before, and it was incredible. Super fresh, perfectly cooked, and the flavor balance was just spot on. The drinks were top shelf and paired really well with everything we ordered for hors d'oeuvres. I even had the chance to meet the head chef Mitch, and you can immediately feel the passion and creativity he brings to the kitchen, just a genuinely great person who clearly cares about the food and the guest experience. Coming from the Twin Cities where I eat a variety of Italian, American, and Asian cuisines, this was easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Huge shout out to Mitch and the whole team, we’ll definitely be back.”

“Absolutely phenomenal. Honestly great prices for how elevated the food is. Great atmosphere....amazing food and great cocktails. I have no complaints...we wanted to originally do the 5 course meal but knew we wouldn't get through 2 plates so we ordered an individual entree with an app. The app was arancini and I got the crawfish fra diavola and it was delicious. The drink I got was the Yuzu margarita...”

“Sagra is an Italian Eatery above Piggy’s on Front Street in La Crosse. It was recommended to us by several residents. It did not disappoint. We started with an Arancini appetizer. We have had arancini before, but NEVER like this. It’s the best we have ever had. Instead of being rice heavy, it was cheese heavy. They were almost like a Wisconsin cheese curd. The pecorino, a mixture of Italian cheeses, was melty and delicious, especially dipped in the buttermilk dipping sauce. We also ordered the special appetizer, fried wax beans. The breading was very light, almost like tempura. The dipping sauce added the flavor. They were good, but the Arancini definitely stood out. For entrees we got a crawfish dish and a chicken dish. Both were generous portions, which allowed us to have leftovers for lunch the following day. The Crawfish Fra Diavola was filled with crawfish and was very flavorful with fresh ingredients. The Chicken Scarpariello was delicious. The polenta was rich and creamy. The chicken comes bone in and skin on, which keeps it juicy. This dish also had Italian sausage and fresh vegetables. I really enjoyed the Italian sausage as a contrast to the chicken. The only disappointment was when we asked the waitress what 5 dishes were on the “chef’s market menu,” she didn’t know and really wouldn’t elaborate. I wanted to try that, but at $58 per person, the requirement for full table participation, and no information, I wasn’t willing to take the chance.”
