“In town for a night for business. A coworker recommended this place. I looked up the menu online and gave it a try. It was phenomenal. The bartender Johnathan was a delight! He was attentive and gave great customer service. The food was wonderful. I hadn’t planned on eating the dinner roll but they brought out blueberry lemon butter that was out of this world good. Wish I could’ve brought some home. I had the Airplane Chicken which was so so good, chicken was cooked perfectly. The Parmesan risotto was chefs kiss. I’m bummed I didn’t save room for dessert because I’m sure that would have been great too!”

“Came in for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend. Service was excellent and food came out fast and hot! My boyfriend got the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies and he loved it! I got the Tuscan shrimp risotto. It was good, but I would have loved more sun-dried tomatoes in my dish, it tasted more like a cheesy risotto. But we will absolutely be back for a date night!”

“We had a private group dinner here. Our server was excellent. We had a limited menu, but I had the filet and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Apps were great, cocktails were great. Didn’t love the desserts - but everything else made up for that!”

“They recently updated their menu and changed some things up. All the staff are amazing & attentive. I will come for drinks at happy hour (Jonathan is one of our fave bartenders)then go get a main course in the dining room! Such a nice spot!”

“Wow! How can I give this place 10 stars! The atmosphere is super. It has a warm, soft feeling. It's an old church that has been beautifully remodeled into an exquisite restaurant. The service we had was impeccable! From the hostess to the bartender to the server, the best I have had in eons. The food, wow, the presentation was extraordinary! Just look at the pictures. it's as if we were in an exclusive restaurant in NY. And the flavors were out of this world. My wife had the beef tips that melted in her mouth. I had the prime rib that had an exquisite flavor. Deserts deserve another compliment all by themselves. All in all, we had an exceptional time and will be back and would highly recommend this dining experience. Pogreba is definitely a major asset to the La Crosse area!”
