151 da Rosa is a Portuguese restaurant in the Lisboa neighborhood of Lisboa.
“We had a wonderful meal in this small quaint place. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We shared a meat and cheese platter to start and then had a salad with added shrimp and the Portuguese steak on bread with cheese and egg - a wonderful local experience. Very relaxed atmosphere, but quite a walk up the hill from our hotel in old town. A very enjoyable evening.”
“Wow, I don't know what to say. This place was truly amazing, just as all the reviews said. We stayed nearby and chose to dine here with my family of four. The owner, Diago, treated us like family, preparing dinner for us. I loved the experience; you have to visit 151 da Rosa, it's exceptional. Every dish was a burst of flavors, leaving me completely amazed.”
“Excellent and fast service. Everything was perfectly calculated and well organized. The staff was very attentive, and the food was simply delicious. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve family dinner.”
“This is my most favorite restaurant in Lisboa. The prawn and monk fish rice is just fantastic. Not too salty and really fresh. You can taste the seafood. Octopus salad is amazing too. The service is great. Very nice guys. I’ll come back again next time for sure!”
“We visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve and had reserved a table in advance. Based on the many positive reviews and our love for traditional Portuguese cuisine, we were really looking forward to the evening. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. The service felt rather reserved and inattentive. When we asked for a wine recommendation, the waiter briefly pointed at the menu and said, “we will try this one,” without explaining which wine it was or why it was being recommended. Our table was also missing napkins, which we had to ask for separately. One of us ordered the Bacalhau à Brás, which was served cold. As we had never had this dish before, we asked whether it was supposed to be served that way. The waiter responded by asking if it was cold and, after we confirmed, the waiter went back to discuss with their colleague. Only thereafter the waiter came back and took the plate away. About five minutes later, the dish was returned. While the food was slightly warmer, the plate was still cold and the dish was far from hot. On a positive note, the steak 151 ordered by the other person at the table was good, and the almond tart with ice cream was also very good. What was most disappointing was that we were never asked about our overall experience, nor were we offered any apology for the cold dish. Given the relatively high prices for Portuguese standards, we would have expected a higher level of service and attention to detail.”
