Bocca Coal Fired Bistro

“I had been here years ago with my late husband and had a great lunch. This time I was on a first date. We had watched a beautiful sunset and were driving towards AC looking for a place to grab some dinner. Driving by I saw there were seats available, so we stopped in here for a late bite at 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening. It's good to know that the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m, and we had some time to order... the restaurant was clearing out, but the bar area still just listening to live music, which was quite enjoyable. Our server's name was Luciano, and he was a very nice young man. Since it was later in the evening, I opted to have a lighter dinner so I ordered the Raw seafood combo appetizer, which was clams, oysters, shrimp and some crab meat. It was very good but my favorite was the oysters of that dish. I also split a salad with my date and we each had an order of Nonna's meatballs. All of it was delicious! We also each had one of their Crushes, it was the coconut grapefruit one, and that really hit the spot. Walked out feeling satisfied. Will return here again. I didn't get any pictures this time around (sorry about that!)”

“Sunday’s brunch menu was a great deal! Relaxing atmosphere, attentive service, and tasteful food was more than expected. The steak was a bit under seasoned and the home fried potatoes were the opposite for my taste, but they were the perfect match when eaten together. I got my food in less than 10 minutes from the time I sat down to order…love the hustle!”

“My husband and I come here every summer when we are down for vacation and every time I get the Chicken parm and it never disappoints, I totally recommend it! Our server Kevin was also a very attentive and polite young man, he was very efficient with our orders and always checked on us! We will be back again throughout the summer!”

“Our family has been coming here for years. We always enjoyed it, but past few years, the menu has changed and isn't on par with how it used to be. The food is still decent, just not the same. It is a little pricey, but its always been like that. Wish they didn't change the menu like they did. (Would love to see crispy onion straws back on the French Onion soup)”
