B2 Bistro and Bar - Bordentown

“Not my first visit and definitely won't be my last. I dined on a Saturday afternoon on their newly opening patio, as I prefer outside dining over inside any day. After promptly being seated, it took over 5 minutes until someone took our drink order. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer, which arrived promptly. I ended up ordering the Christmas sushi roll, which was outstanding and I will probably try another roll in the future. The patio is gorgeous with plenty of seating, and you could barely hear the road noise. My only complaint is with my Old Fashioned, it smelled and tasted like cinnamon, as if Fireball was used instead of bourbon. In fact the last 3 old fashioneds (1 bulleit rye, 2 makers mark) that I've ordered from B2 had that cinnamon smell, I don't recall previous ones with this issue. I mentioned it the last time, thinking maybe someone made a mistake. It tasted like a Fall-style old fashioned, like they use a simple syrup with added spices I guess i'll need to order a different drink in the future as i'm not a fan of fireball or cinnamon drinks. But the food is consistently excellent and the menu is quite varied. I had the short rib the last time and I can say that it was the best I've ever had.”

“Zachary W was our server & he was fast, efficient & had greate vibes. The Owners checked in on us & were very kind. The food, party of 6 was excellent. Everyone loved their food. I had BLT, my company had chili, soup & salad, chili tots, impossible burger. The place had a great vibe & great food.”

“Let me begin by saying the server was so nice! I had no issues with the service. She made it pleasant. We came in on Friday night. Place was not busy. Ordered a Cosmo. It was actually sour. Idk how they made it.. but it was terrible. Color looked perfect so I was optimistic. Yes, I drank it, no I didn’t send it back and yes this is my honest opinion. Caesar salad was fine. Traditional, and my bf enjoyed the croutons. Lettuce was nice and crisp. Meals. I had the short rib. Def needed more Demi glaze which my server got for me no problem! A wee on the dry side. Plates came out really hot and I do not believe it was cuz they just came out of the wash… green beans were luke warm. Overall I gave it a 6.5/10. Bf had the Mac and cheese sando with the short rib on it. Def was an ENTIRE burger size patty of fried mac and cheese with some dry strips of short rib on top. He tried to eat without the bun… just was not good. Fries weren’t even cooked all the way. He gave it hardly any stars and went home to eat. Honest review of our first time here. Probably won’t be back but I did enjoy the selection and GF options available. We went to another B2 and loved it and was hoping for the same experience. I will say portion sizes were nice.. but missed the mark for us. Not paying $100 again for sub par meals and drinks.”
