B2 Bistro and Bar - North Brunswick

“Went there last Sunday, and we beat the Rutgers graduation rush. I wanted to eat something yummy, and I also wanted to enjoy the weather. We sat outside, and it was nice under the shade. I got the steak and eggs, and I subbed out the potato pancake for sweet potato fries. I also ordered a side of wild mushrooms. Everything was delicious! Cleaned my entire plate. My goddaughter got the gnocchi, and it was also yummy. She saved half for home, but she wanted to try their chocolate lava cake. She was delighted to know it wasn't so bitter, and she enjoyed it. Our server was fantastic! She answered all our questions, and she also gave us great recommendations. She was attentive without being overbearing. I loved that she brought us fresh, new pitchers of ice water consistently without us even asking. Great experience.”

“First time here today, had a really nice time. Place is very clean and open and warm! Many places like this can get drafty but we sat by the windows and it was very comfortable. There is such an extensive menu so we'll have to return to try more. The happy hour menu looked great too! I had the wings to start (one of a few different versions they have) and they were great! Then I had the French dip sandwich and that was also really good. Fries were seasoned perfectly! We also had the garlic steak sandwich and that was also great. For dessert we had the cheesecake. It wasn't my favorite but overall it was very good. Will definitely return. Anthony Staples at the bar was exceptional and gave us great service. Will definitely return!”

“The food was absolutely on point — the ribs were tender, juicy, and coated in a rich, flavorful BBQ sauce that hit every note. The fries were crispy, the coleslaw was fresh, and that cornbread? Soft, sweet, and the perfect side to tie everything together. Even the pizza in the background looked delicious. Definitely a spot that knows how to do comfort food right. But what really made the experience stand out was our server, Val. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about giving great service, and it made the whole meal even better. Great food + great service = 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be coming back 👏”

“First time at B2, and I only have good things to say. Food was delicious. So good that I wasn't able to capture photos of all our entrees. Two of our dishes included weel seasoned blackened chicken. The Crab Rollatini a la Vodka features thinly sliced eggplant. The Short Rib entree just melted in your mouth with it's hearty rosemary demi glaze, and was the table's favorite. Favorite dessert was the Peanut Butter Explosion; a very dense dessert. The Chocolate Decadence Cake can easily feed 3+ and tasted very rich. Above all, our server, Veronica, was stupendous. She had great menu suggestions, did not flinch when I substituted a side (if fact she pointed out the options on the menu), and provided many water refills for my thirsty family. Our table was cleared promptly when we finished our meals, and boxes & bags provided for leftovers. I highly recommend this location, and this server.”

“Nice place, bar + bistro atmosphere, name is very appropriate. Wings were ok, more like baked chicken rather than appetizer wings. Cheesesteak was on point! Very good! Garlic steak sando was pretty good. Steak could have been more tender. Over all a nice place with ok food.”
