“We went for my daughter’s birthday. We drove from Coral Springs so it was a drive. That being said it was a pretty cool experience. People were nice service was excellent. Definitely a casual local place. The food was actually pretty good we sat on the roof top with a nice view. You can order food from any restaurant and the server will bring it to you. Thanks for the great experience.”
“This place is a vibe! Food options are good, and drinks are reasonable. Music was great. Came during the day but rooftop opens at 4 with a bar and food service.”
“I love visiting The Citadel in Little Haiti whenever I get the chance. The rooftop bar is always a highlight — the ambiance, the service, and the views make it one of the best rooftop experiences in Miami. Luis, our server, was incredibly courteous and sweet, adding to an already great atmosphere. The happy hour specials were not only delicious but also a fantastic value. The rooftop décor is vibrant, colorful, and full of tropical energy, making it perfect for date nights, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying Miami’s warm evenings. Overlooking the historic neighborhood of Little Haiti, the setting feels both lively and culturally rich.”
“One of the best food hall’s I’ve seen in my travels. Every place looked amazing. The decor is stylish but inviting. I felt safe and really enjoyed my time here. I took away a star for the absurdly expensive parking onsite. $10 an hour is pretty high!”
“Today I stopped by The Citadel (bar) and ordered two Aperol Spritzes. The drinks were listed at $13 each, but after taxes and additional fees, my bill came to $39 for just two cocktails. That was quite a surprise and left me feeling that the final price was not clearly reflected upfront. As for the drinks, an Aperol Spritz is a simple and classic cocktail, and these were just okay. What really disappointed me was the garnish. The orange slice looked old and unappetizing. When I pointed it out, the bartender explained that it was a dehydrated orange, but regardless, it did not look appealing and took away from the presentation of the drink. Unfortunately, between the unexpected extra charges and the poor presentation, the experience did not meet my expectations. I won’t be returning.”
