“We had business dinner at this wonderful tavern! From the moment you walk in - you are met with a box of apples… roaring fireplace! Open view kitchen and a stocked bar. Service was quick and courteous… Food - tuna tar-tar was great! Fresh. Came with avocado and a tasty cracker I had lobster roll - while it was ok - the fact that every time i bit into it i had to spit out pieces of shell wasnt cool! Thats where my 4 star comes from.. Overall - solid 5 and i would return! Right off rt 10. Plenty of parking. Kids menu. Enjoy”

“Very good all around. Ambiance is great. Large lofted main dining room with a beautiful fireplace is far cozier then you would expect. Service is over the top, for example, they bring a fresh chilled martini glass to swap for your 1/2 empty drink (my wife’s)! Food is well portioned and very well prepared. Reservation strongly suggested.”

“Overall the food is average. Lobster roll and the fish are a bit dry, and the fries/truffle fries are not crispy, all come in soggy. The cream brûlée seems to be premade because the top is supposed to be torched when it brought to table but it’s not crispy. Although the food is not impressive, the service is above average. The server always serves with a smile and tried his best to accommodate our requests as well. They also arrange us a private room for our party of 9. We enjoy the privacy a lot.”

“Tabor Road Tavern is a great spot in terms of atmosphere. The decor is well done, the space feels inviting, and the overall vibe makes it a place you want to sit and stay for a while. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the visit. The food itself was good and well-prepared, with solid flavor across the board. That said, the portion sizes compared to the cost were disappointing. For the price point, the servings were noticeably small, which took away from the overall experience. You leave feeling like you had a nice meal, but not quite enough of one. Parking is also very limited and can be frustrating, especially during busy times, which adds to the overall inconvenience. Overall, a great atmosphere and strong service, but the value and parking situation could be improved.”
