“Very good menu with local favorites like hot chicken, bBQ brisket, and shrimp and grits. A full bar compliments the restaurant so you can eat, drink, and listen to music while you socialize. The outdoor seating is nice when the weather is good. Great place for an in the city lunch for 1 or 10.”

“Perfect experience here! We came for brunch quite early on a Sunday and had a lovely booth by the window. Our server, Zachary, was one of the best we've ever had, anywhere. His droll humor and genuine pleasure in ensuring that you have the best meal possible create a fun and lively atmosphere from the start. I had one of the variations of eggs benedict and substituted the habanero corncake for the other starch option and the dish was exquisite. Foodie-worthy, gourmet, whatever superlatives you can think of. The potato hash was perfectly seasoned and the single piece of french toast to share (a welcome upsell recommended by Zachary but a steal at $6.99) was fantastic. I don't even like French toast but this one had me vying for my fair share. Even the berries were elevated, somehow sweeter than usual. I had the mimosa in a mason jar and it, too, was perfect. Not too sweet, but very balanced with both orange and pineapple juice, an orange liquor (Cointreau?) and bubbly. My spouse had biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage and was also delighted with his meal. We will come back the very next time we're in Nashville.”

“A very clean and good atmosphere. The poppers appetizers were very delicious. The cowboy burger and the smokestack burger are the dynamic duo you should probably go with! Sure, the cowboy burger can be dry, but all you gotta do is add some barbecue to it! Staff was very friendly! I did not need the banana pudding, but trust me, it’s worth to get!”

“We stopped in for a quick bite prior to our dinner reservations. The Sweet Potato skins were the best, and came highly recommend by our server. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in Nashville.”

“Pleasantly surprised. We went on a Friday night about 5:20. Only a few tables in the music area were taken so we got a great seat. It was mostly full by 6:30. The beverage selection was more than adequate, lots of choices. We shared the pork shank dinner, it was something new for me. It was one of the best meals I've had this year, anywhere. So tender and flavorful, with mashed potatoes, gravy, and veggies. My daughter had the brisket with coleslaw and greens. It was top notch and we're from KC so we know good brisket and coleslaw. It was smoked tender and had a great crispy edge. The live music started at 6PM and it was great. Savanah Benz was only 22 and so much fun, she took request. Weather was pleasant so they had the windows open which gave it a outdoor vibe.”
