Chais Delachaise, a quaint wine bistro located right off the streetcar line in the beautiful Maple Street area of Uptown, New Orleans. The menu is inspired by the food, wine and flavors we love from around the globe. Daily specials combine local farm and fresh seafood into Chef Baryy Credeur's take on global and classic dishes. Chargrilled Octopus, Housemade Pasta, and Coconut Curry Mussels, are but a few dishes that may pop up on our daily specials menu. We have a full bar with award winning mixologists and an extensive eclectic wine list with over 40 wines by the glass and FIVE $5 by the glass wine specials from small vineyards. “Loved it here, so sorry I don't remember our servers name, she was lovely and attentive and made sure we caught the happy hour deals in time! One of us got the risotto, I got the steak board with salad, and my husband got the steak frites. We also had the sliders. All were very good. We sure are spoiled for choice in this city but I'll make sure to go back.”
“Our new favorite… funky and cool with a nice outdoor patio. Service was great and the Happy Hour deals were awesome. They have a nice offering of wine and cocktails… we took advantage of the half priced wine. We shared the Pommes Frites, with goose-fat and pimento aioli, and deviled eggs, which were both very good. The Mussels Fra Diavolo with white wine and red pepper sauce were delicious. Definitely going on our Favorites & Recommended list. 🥂”
