Anixi is a Mediterranean Brasserie by Chef Guy Vaknin that features vibrant flavors from Greece, Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon. Allow us to set your table with dishes such as fresh baked breads, hot and cold mezze, hearty salads, shish kabobs, crisp and savory pastries, and traditional desserts. At the bar, enjoy artisan cocktails and a regionally curated wine list.
“We had a reservation at Anixi during a busy NYC trip and unfortunately got stuck in heavy traffic because of a Knicks game — we were running late and worried we'd lose our table. The staff was wonderful about it, held our reservation, and got us seated as soon as we arrived. Since we a Broadway right after, we let our server know we only had about an hour to eat. They were fantastic — got our food out quickly without ever making the meal feel rushed, and the service throughout was genuinely excellent. The food itself was good, flavorful Mediterranean vegan dishes with nice variety across the mezze and mains. Only critiques: portion sizes ran a bit on the smaller side for the price point. That said, the hospitality alone makes this worth a visit. They went above and beyond to accommodate our tight schedule, which made for a stress-free pre-theater dinner with our family of six. Would return, especially if not on a time crunch.”
“This was our second time here and it was outstanding yet again. Vegan or not, you’ll love the food here; I have not had many meals that have wowed me as much as Anixi does. The zaatar pita comes out steaming hot and perfectly fluffy. Get as many dips as you can (the whipped ricotta with saffron is my favorite). My only critique is that every kabob I have had has been pretty dry (the lamb and wild mushroom both). Some acidity and a little less cooking time and they’d be great as well. The dips and the Manti Lamb Pockets are the star! We came for a birthday and the service was solid. Our server came back way too often but we think she might have been new. I also wish they’d do something complimentary for their guests coming in on special occasions, but still, outstanding vegan food.”
“You don’t have to be vegan to fall hard for this Mediterranean spot, and honestly, it’s a great chance to be vegan occasionally with a good feeling. The menu is huge, and even without butter, cheese, or eggs, the flavors are remarkable. Every dish we tried was tasty and satisfying, and heavy in a good way. Our tall waitress was excellent and made helpful suggestions. A group of us shared a bunch of plates, and we left feeling amazed and satisfied. They serve alcoholic drinks.”
“Me and my daughters had an amazing experience. Our waitress walked us through the menu and made suggestions on our likes and delivered! The food was delicious and unique. All of us truly enjoyed our lunch 😊😊😊. I have to say this is the fanciest vegan experience we have had . We will be trying one of their other restaurants next time . From the food to the service Exceptional ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“This place is hands down one of the best vegan places around especially that meets the taste of exact meat. Great Ambiance. The service is exceptional- shoutout to my server Jen! We ordered almost the entire menu and everything was a 10/10 - I do not say this easily! The running egg yolk on Kachapuri is identical to the real egg- its made outta Carrot, chickpea, black pepper and salt, wow. The kebobs are must try. The desserts are great too. Will definitely visit again.”
