“Went here for my birthday with my dad, and it was honestly amazing! The bread was divine, the salad was beautiful and fresh, the penne à la vodka with shrimp was so flavorful and buttery. I loved everything! And the cake was good too however the frosting could be a little bit looser on the strawberry Matcha cake.”

“Have been in NYC for almost 2 decades, and have tried more Italian dishes than I care to admit - this is hands down THE BEST American Italian style restaurant. I continue to come back for their spicy penne alla vodka - delicious, the sauce has a slight hint of heat, just enough to make the flavors work together, creating an absolutely excellent dish. I usually order it with shrimp. This time we also ordered baked clams (YUM!), mozzarella sticks that came with three different sauces, and lemon pasta with burrata (no need for protein, it's absolutely delicious as is). We also had wine (recommended by the waiter), and the Spumoni My Way dessert - housemade pistachio ice cream, Nutella, and amarena cherries. Everything was delicious! The waiter was attentive, answered all our questions, and made excellent recommendations. It's a small place, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. We booked through the Chase Sapphire Reserve dining portal as it was not available via the regular reservation website. I can't wait to go back!”

“Amazing restaurant, welcoming environment, amazing food! We had no reservation we had seven of us and they were able to accommodate us. We waited approximately 45 minutes, which was no problem because they had a bar next-door. We went to and had a few drinks. We were a party of seven we got two pasta dishes, and two appetizers. They do big family plates so that’s what they recommended. The overall and ambience of the place was amazing. The pasta was super delicious. Highly recommend this place.”

“My friend and I walked in without a reservation. We were told that the wait would be 2 hours. That was fine but what I didn’t understand was the empty seats that were there during the entire time we waited. They stated that the grace period was 10/15 minutes but there was more than one empty table BEFORE we arrived. Luckily the bar opened up and that’s where we had dinner. I’m not sure how their seating arrangements go but it didnt make any sense to me. The food was delicious despite this and the bar staff was amazing. I will definitely be back. We ordered the meatballs with ricotta, spicy rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp, chicken parmigiana, and the limoncello cheesecake. My cosmo martini was so good!”

“I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to visit Arthur and Sons especially when I’ve heard nothing but good things. The food here is phenomenal and seasoned to literal perfection. The appetizers alone let me know I was about to have a great dinner. The Fried Calamari and Caesar Salad was so filling that by time our entrees came we knew they were coming home with us. The atmosphere is very cozy with good music to go with it. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive and giving wonderful recommendations, the Shrimp Alla Fantasia did not disappoint. I will 100% be back!”
