“The dining experience at Bar Bonobo was beautiful from concept to table, delivering a spread that looks just as indulgent as the setting. The moody ambiance of the back lounge sets a sultry backdrop for the meal. Every dish is styled to perfection, leaning heavily into an upscale, sexy aesthetic that feels intentionally designed to be photographed. The crispy chicken nuggets arrive piled high on branded parchment paper, featuring a deeply golden, rugged crust that promises an exceptional crunch. They are paired with a metal tin of smooth, white creme fresh topped with a generous, precise mound of dark Kaluga caviar, creating a flavor combination that feels peak NYC trendiness. Alongside the nuggets, the Italian Nachos are a vibrant, messy masterpiece of potato chips smothered in ribbons of salty salami, a snowstorm of finely grated pecorino cheese, and bright yellow pepperoncini that cut right through the richness.”
“Came with a friend for drinks on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We both e got the espresso martini- the graham cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate added in are a nice touch. The staff was nice and the ambiance is great- pretty mood lighting, gorgeous chandeliers, not crazy loud, and a variety of seating both at the bar, plus high tops, and some booths and tables as well. Would recommend this spot for sure.”
“Went to Bonobo last week and we definitely loved it there! The place is beautiful, the cocktails are fire (our favorite was the popcorn cocktail), and they have a Dj every Sunday. Thanks to Sarah for organizing our visit and to Jennifer for making us feel at home! :) Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Chelsea :)”
“Went for happy hour and had an enjoyable experience. Very nice service and atmosphere. The sliders were a better choice than the Italian nachos from the hh items we chose. We arrived around 4:00 and it was getting busy when we were leaving around 5:15”
“I'm a big Martini lover and this spot was a great find. They have $10 tiny martinis as part of their happy hour. The standout was the Cacio E Pepe martin, which actually came with some parmesan cheesei, it tasted just like the dish. They also have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The bartenders are super attentive. Definitely get there on the early side or make sure you make reservations. At night time it turns into a club type vibe.”
