“Cent'Anni is a charming Italian restaurant that feels like a hidden slice of Italy tucked into the neighborhood. The dining room is cozy and intimate, with close quarters that add to the warm and inviting atmosphere rather than feeling crowded. Every detail contributes to the feeling that you've stepped into a small neighborhood restaurant somewhere in Italy. The bar is fully stocked, and the cocktail program feels thoughtfully curated, making it a great spot whether you're stopping in for dinner, drinks, or both. When the weather is nice, the front windows open up, and there is bar seating that creates a lively connection to the street outside. One of the highlights of the restaurant is the back patio. It feels like a hidden gem and provides a beautiful outdoor dining space that many visitors might not expect from the front of the restaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and the overall experience felt relaxed and special. Between the atmosphere, drinks, and intimate setting, Cent'Anni is an excellent choice for date night, celebrations, or anyone looking for a memorable Italian dining experience in Brooklyn.”
“I went here on a whim and thank god I did! The frozen martini was yummy and unique but definitely would recommend it post meal as it is very sweet and gives more of a dessert vibe 8/10. The sauteed calamari was delicious and soft I loved the sage and fresh herbs in it, 11/10! The homemade pasta with lamb was soooo tasty not too acidic and just the right amount of meat to sauce ratio 10/10. The penne ala vodka was a bit of a disappointment but also a very basic dish. We ordered chicken with it, the grilled chicken was a bit dry but had a flavorful char, the pasta itself 7/10. Surpringly the french fries were some of the best fries I've had in a while. I'm not sure if they coat them with starch to get a crunchy outter layer but 10/10. The sauteed broccoli rabe was simple but yummy 9/10.”
“I’m still thinking about this place!!! Food is delicious and yummy, good portions, we ordered full course dinner for 2 and the price for everything was jaw-dropping Surprisingly the food came up first that the wine tho, beyond that I’ll be back”
“Visited this place for lunch after Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It took us about 10min walk. Very cozy and nice vibe and food was amazing too! Texture of handmade pasta was pretty good and worth trying. We got pretty full and missed a chance to try tiramisu but would love to come back again!”
“The pasta was underwhelming. I’ve certainly had much better around town. The Buratta was a gorgeous serving and very delicious. The salad was also a bit underwhelming. The cocktails looked fun, but we didn’t partake. The staff was friendly and the place itself is very cute. The backyard is definitely worth sitting in. Everyone was kind and attentive but the food didn’t make much of an impression on me. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying something else, but there isn’t much pulling me back aside from maybe wanting to try their cocktails. All in all, it’s cute and the staff is friendly but the food didn’t meet my expectations.”
