Dino is a cozy, rustic (read: perfectly Brooklyn) neighborhood joint dishing up traditional Northern Italian cuisine. Homemade pastas, daily specials, and desserts are accompanied by innovative cocktails and a hand-picked, affordable wine selection.
“I had my birthday dinner here (party of 6) and it was perfect. We sat at the large table tucked in the back. The food was excellent and a great red wine selection. We tried all the crostini, the eggplant was our favorite. We also had the polenta bites and calamari, all were delicious. For my main I had the lamb chop special in a balsamic reduction over spinach and mash potatoes, 10/10, no notes.”
“Delicious food. Gluten free options. Nice pet friendly outdoor seating. Great service from Aidan :)”
“We had our engagement dinner at Dino last October, and it was honestly perfect. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to the entire team for making the night so special. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Everyone — from the hostess to the servers — was so kind, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure our evening went smoothly. The upstairs room was exactly what we hoped for: warm, cozy, and intimate, the perfect setting for our celebration with close friends and family. We arrived about 30 minutes early to set up, and the staff immediately jumped in to ask if they could help with anything. It was such a relief and made the whole experience feel effortless. The food was incredible — every dish came out perfectly timed and absolutely delicious. The servers were attentive without being intrusive, kept the wine flowing, and made sure every guest felt taken care of. It was one of those rare nights where everything just felt right. Dino made it unforgettable, and I’m still smiling thinking about it. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to host a special event. Truly, they made our night magical.”
“Great neighborhood spot for a glass of wine and some bites. A few tables on the outdoor sidewalk, main dining room and additional seating upstairs (upstairs is a little dark). Happy Hour 3-6, would come back for a glass of wine and the various crostini.”
“Visited here with my partner for dinner. We were having a great time until we asked to share a last glass of wine (after drinking our own and finishing our meal) and proceeded to watch our waiter tell all the other servers about how apparently crazy that is and laugh at us and mock us from not three feet away in a mostly empty restaurant. I tried several times to ask if there was an issue and was ignored until finally they just put on a fake voice and said no problem. Human to human - there’s no need to laugh at someone where they can see you! Thats what BOH is for! Thats what drinks after work are for! Still tipped 20% because I’m not a POS. Being a jerk doesn’t make you a New Yorker, that’s transplant energy! Shame because it was truly one of our go-to restaurants prior. Chicken parm almost made it worth it. Runners and bussers were super nice. Finished our night at Sailor where the people were great and food was to die for. Should’ve started there!”
