al di là Trattoria has been serving hand crafted pastas and simple Italian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere since 1998.
“Every time I eat here it’s a 10/10 experience! The staff remembers you and treats you kindly. The food is some of the best I’ve had in NYC. The drinks are incredible, and the bar-tender is thoughtful. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the hidden bar around the back is our favorite. You have to try the Straccatella (may have misspelled it) and the butternut squash pasta with brown butter. Amazing spot in brooklyn! Love love love!”
“We first went to al di la way back in '98 as soon as they opened. My wife - who is from northern Italy, like one of the owners - wasn't truly satisfied with any Italian food options in NYC. This place was different. The food was delicious, simple and homey. The vibe was unpretentious and welcoming. We've eaten our way up and down the menu many times since then. Just last week, after a gap of maybe ten years (we moved out of Park Slope), we visited again and were very happy to find that the menu and more importantly, the level of cooking hadn't changed one bit. And, that's not easy for any restaurant anywhere to say.”
“Visited for a birthday dinner and the food, atmosphere and service were all great 🎉. Tasted a few wines to find one that was perfect - great waitress insisted we try a few. Appetizers of burrata and the roasted calamari (both fantastic), sampled multiple pastas and then a trio of desserts - the pear cake with chocolate was such a wonderful surprise and nice way to wrap up the evening. Will be back!”
“Great food, ambiance and selection. I will be returning again for dinner. My only gripe was it was a little tight for seating but other than that 5/5!”
“We wanted to come to al di lá for a while and glad we finally did. Made a reservation beforehand since this place does get busy on the weekend and glad we did. The drinks were delicious, we got a nice recommendation from a gentleman working here. The pasta was good - definitely fresh and quality ingredients but that’s it. There’s a lot of pasta shops in the area and they all sit at the same level of taste. Would definitely stop by again if I was ever in the mood for pasta and wanted to eat out.”
