Piccola Trattoria is an Italian restaurant in the Dobbs Ferry neighborhood of Dobbs Ferry.
“I have never had a bad experience here and I mean that, I’ve never even had a slightly bad experience in a slightly negative way. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, the setting is perfect, I love how small and intimate it is, and I love the fact that’s family owned. I go to this restaurant once a week and God bless you to the owners and the staff for not only a job excellently done; but I hope there are many more years in the future, of us having the privilege of tasting the deliciousness that comes out of your kitchen.”
“Chef Sergio and his staff are warm and welcoming! The food reflects his love of serving authentic dishes. The ingredients were top quality and the taste was flavorful. Every dish at this tasting was perfect and represented the menu perfectly. The artichoke was pure bliss, hand made parpadelle magic, branding delicious and so much more! Chef visited every table which is key! Service was very friendly and attentive. The interior space was beautiful and inviting. It's a must go to, thanks Chef and Westchester Foodies!”
“Worth the trip to Dobbs Ferry for this lovely dining experience! Lucky for me, I live in the neighborhood and eat here at least once a month. The staff are experts in hospitality, the food is amazing, and the ambiance is that of a rustic modern farmhouse. I love it. It's the perfect spot for date night, gatherings with friends & family, or a solo girl-dinner at the bar. Gus, Pete, and Sergio always make me feel so welcome and cared for while I'm there, and I always leave feeling happy and satisfied. The seasonal menu changes often and takes advantage of local produce, I'll add photos of the delicious cocktails, pasta, and mains I've had over the past couple months. This place is a true gem!”
“We’ve visited this restaurant twice now and keep coming back for the cozy, charming vibe. Sitting by the window is especially nice, and they have a really solid wine selection that pairs perfectly with the food. Service was spectacular both times ! Dishes we tried: Meatballs – 5/5 amazing ! Calamari – 4.5/5 fyi Not your typical calamari. Steak – 5/5 Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Cacio e Pepe – 4/5 It was good, but not quite as good as our first visit. A bit inconsistent this time. Rigatoni – 4/5 it was good though the pasta was slightly undercooked.”
“Was so excited to come here and the atmosphere was very cute! Wine and cocktails were good. The insalata Fresca was very lame - something I could have made at home - with canned hearts of palm. We were 4 people, 3 ordered pasta and 1 ordered pork chops. 2/3 pastas were very undercooked and mushy, not to mention greasy. The pork chop sauce was delicious but the chops themselves were quite undercooked. We mentioned this to one server shortly after we got the food, and to another server at the end of the meal. This second server was rude to us because we did not share it with him sooner, and when we explained to him that we had shared it with someone else, he said that didn’t matter because he held a higher position than the first server. How would we know that? In short, disgusting food and bad service, for expensive prices. Will not be returning.”
