“Fabulous food in a unique environment! This is a dinner-onky, reservations required kind of place, set inside a former drugstore. It's pretty small and can get loud, but the food is hot and tasty and the service is superb. We had the arancini for a starter and it was cheesy goodness all the way through; the chitarre pasta and gnocchi for primi, and the bomba with locally made fior di latte gelato to end things. Molto bello all the way around.”

“I hadn’t been here in a while, and coming back reminded me why I love this place so much. Dining here truly feels like you’re stepping into someone’s Italian grandmother’s home - warm, welcoming, and filled with food made with care. The restaurant is located in a 140+ year-old apothecary, and the interior still remains beautifully true to the spirit of its history, which adds so much charm and character to the experience. We started with the Ribollita, a traditional Florentine vegetable dish made with Tuscan kale, squash, savoy cabbage, carrots & cannellini beans. It was a pleasant surprise and such a comforting, flavorful way to begin the meal. For the mains, we had the pappardelle with duck, which was absolutely delicious -the pasta clearly handmade and perfectly prepared. We also shared the bistecca, a classic and delicious entrée served with mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was beautifully cooked and paired perfectly with a wonderful bottle of Sicilian wine. To finish, we enjoyed a trio of gelato, and the mulberry was my favorite- such a refreshing and memorable way to end the meal. The ambiance, the space, and the service were all fantastic. Rocco gave us a wonderful experience -attentive, warm, and welcoming throughout the evening. Chef’s kiss to the entire staff and the chef. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back”

“I enjoyed a meal here at Laconia Vini & Oli a couple nights ago and had an incredible time. Everything on the menu was great and excellent service from the front of house staff. It is so hard to find good Pici and it was phenomenal. The truffle pasta was equally impressive and I walked out of the restaurant with a definite desire to return in the future.”

“After walking through the streets of Brooklyn I wanted some authentic Italian food. This place came heavily recommended and I tell you what it did not disappoint. We got their kind of late however that did not matter at all they stayed open until we finished eating. The service was out of this world he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and definitely helped set the mood for the night. The menu was expansive but wasn't overwhelming and the food was definitely a delight. I would definitely visit this place again next time I'm in town..”

“My chitara pasta (the first pasta dish on the menu) was actually so good. Still thinking about it... Tiramisu amazing. Olives delicious and functionally bottomless. Wine overpriced c'mon now 😅 Very nice service I told them it was our anniversary and they gave us some candles in our dessert :)”
