“Such a lovely and vibrant restaurant with a equally vibrant and lovely chef and owner at the helm. While I'm sure the rest of the menu is delicious, I think the play is doing the chef's 5 course option. Not only do you get amazing food, but you get to see Chef Maurizio's personality and thoughtfulness in every dish he brings out. The fact he was able to accommodate someone heavily lactose intolerant when it comes to Italian food speaks for itself I think. Much thanks to Sofia (I believe that was our lovely server's name) for being so attentive. We'll be back again (and again and again...)”
“We went to reminisce our childhood in mulberry street decided to walk around and we're looking for a spot to eat. We went inside and was greeted by Maurizio with a big smile and Italian accent . It was about 230 pm we absolutely love authentic Italian food so we gave it a try. It was the best decision! From us entering the restaurant until we left the experience was excellent. He was Making sure we were attended too the cocktails were amazing. We had Caesar salad , calamari and chicken parmigiana. We will definitely be back ! He made us feel like welcomed and even sat down and spoke to us for a few . Definitely one of a kind place and original.”
“Fantastic authentic pasta and secondi dishes. My favorite pastas were the fusilli alla nonna and the ravioli a cuore but that may change as I order more pastas. Similarly I loved the pollo and the lamb but I suspect when I finish the menu I'll find an even better dish. The flavors are all deep and mellow allowing you to slowly enjoy the food. The balance means you're never rushing, and the wines fit the food. I almost forgot the bruschetta and the tartare are also fantastic. Highly recommend, everyone else knows about the place so you probably need a reservation or to go on an off-peak time.”
“I have to first start off with I was afraid when I asked for chicken Alfredo, then was told they don't serve chicken Alfredo. I was offered Cacio e Pepe, but with fettuccine and I was amazed! The flavor was so good! I have a new favorite go to! The sound level was above average just because of the close quarters but I was still able to have a conversation with my friends without an issue, just a raised voice. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that is craving some pasta or some other Italian food as the food is a blast of flavor!”
“From the moment you walk in, the experience at Taverna Di Bacco is exceptional. The owner-chef greets you with genuine warmth and infectious energy, immediately setting the tone for the night. The interior is elegant, beautifully designed, and creates a cozy yet refined atmosphere. Service is equally impressive: attentive, friendly, and not rushed. The food, though, is what truly steals the show. Every dish we tried easily deserves more than five stars. The pasta sauces were rich, balanced, and full of flavor, the kind that makes you slow down just to savor every bite. And the desserts… outstanding. The award-winning chocolate mousse absolutely lives up to its reputation: decadent, silky, and truly unforgettable. The cranberry sauce with chocolate mousse was the only thing that I didn’t like. A truly wonderful dining experience from start to finish.”
