“Very special restaurant with great food, great team, great ambience and the guests were polished and interesting. We were treated so well, every bite was top notch. The wines - delicious. You know you love it when you are already making plans to come back! Thank you!”
“Walked in and luckily we were able to be seated at the bar (best to make reservations ahead even if it says there are time slots open) The beet salad was delicious, especially with the bits of dates to add a touch of sweetness. The Caesar salad was a nice portion (not pictured). The rigatoni was excellent, really love how large the pasta was, and the sauce had a great butteriness to it; nice short rib flavor as well. The coffee and creme desert was a highlight; the description also said small lady fingers but it resembles Rice Krispies to me, either way, delicious.”
“Daphne’s is a true neighborhood gem. I had my birthday dinner here for a group of 10 and everything was fantastic—from the vibes to the food and wine. The pasta was especially delicious and flavorful, crudo was beautiful, and pork chops were juicy and tasty. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful in hosting our group, and the personalized menus were such a thoughtful + tasteful touch. A great spot for special occasions and everyday dining. Can’t wait to come back!”
“To be honest I wasn’t expecting much, I think there are way too many of this kind of restaurant out there, but I was SHOCKED at how good everything was. The delicata squash tempura was FANTASTIC. It was so unassuming but the light batter leaves room for the sweetness of the squash to come through. The focaccia was fantastic although $3 extra for a singular tablespoon of salted butter is kind of off-putting. The half chicken was INCREDIBLE. It might’ve been the juiciest chicken I’ve ever had in my life. The fries were really well salted which is HUGE And the spicy rigatoni is not to be slept on! Pasta was the perfect doneness and the sauce was really perfect. I was worried it would be a throwaway dish but for a classic it was UNIQUELY good. Amazing! Can’t wait to come back”
“Caught dinner here recently, we were able to be seated promptly without a reservation. We did go soon after they opened to that is likely why. With the nice weather we were able to get a seat outside, I enjoyed looking around my neighborhood and people watching; the inside seating looked really nice as well. The service was overall good, our hostess was very nice and helped get the outside table set up, our server was also very kind. I got the Rigatoni and thought it was just alright, there are a few other Italian spots around this area I’ve been to and gotten similar dishes at (only difference being meat) and enjoyed those more than what I ate here. My partner got the spaghetti and really enjoyed it; only complaint was wishing the portion was bigger. We both thought the Sourdough Focaccia was really really good. I loved the hard, not stale, crust but the really beauty was the fluffy, soft inside. Absolutely delicious.”
