“Came here for an early dinner and had a great experience. The staff was super kind and patient, we never felt rushed, which is rare around here. Food was surprisingly really good, from the apps to the pasta. Small menu but everything was done well. Nice, intimate vibe too, feels like a hidden gem on a busy stretch of Flatbush.”

“Dropped in this past Sunday for breakfast/brunch. Picked it out randomly from Google Maps. Had a wonderful meal in a bright, cheerful atmosphere. Service was great. Shown is the Montrealer breakfast sandwich. Deeelicious😁! Glad we stopped in!”

“My partner and I went here for a Saturday morning brunch as a way to start the day. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate decor with pretty great and attentive service. It can be a bit loud and cramped due to the layout but you do sit pretty close to other patrons. My partner and myself ordered the Rise and Shine breakfast platter, though I got mine with egg whites instead of whole eggs. The food tasted pretty clean but forgettable in flavor with pretty substantially small portion sizes. I had to get a side salad for an additional $8 to feel somewhat full. My partner also ordered a cappuccino that had a pretty presentation but lacked a bold coffee flavor we’ve grown accustom to with cappuccinos. Overall, I’d like to come back here to try their non-brunch menu but the food we did have was pretty small in portion size for the cost, which would normally be fine, but the flavors being pretty mild and intentionally inoffensive left us with a fairly forgettable meal.”

“We had heard good things about this restaurant but I found it disappointing. My first impression was a strong unpleasant odor that permeated the space. The food was unimpressive. The whipped ricotta appetizer was quite weak - the bread was hard and chewy with a smear of ricotta on the side. The ravioli was tasteless. The best dish by far was the mushroom gnocchi which had excellent flavor (though the gnocchi itself was a bit too soft). For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, which was good but not out of this world. Also enjoyed the house wine. The service was friendly. I did appreciate that the restaurant is family friendly and I believe there is outdoor seating available in good weather. Overall, the experience was good, hence the 3 star review, but for the price, I'm not sure I would return. That said, it is one of the better Italian restaurants in the neighborhood.”

“This is a small Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, but personally, it’s not a place I would visit again. I went on a date and didn’t have a chance to look at the menu beforehand, and my date didn’t ask about any dietary restrictions, so there were a lot of items I couldn’t eat. Most of the dishes were tomato-based, which I can’t consume. I ordered the calamari and zucchini, which were extremely oily and lacked flavor. The oil definitely affected my stomach later on that night. It felt like they were simply battered, fried, and served—no seasoning at all. My date had the pizza and seemed to enjoy it, but I wasn’t able to try it, so I can’t comment on it. Bread was offered to the table, and the drink options were pretty standard. The beer selection consisted of Italian beers. On a positive note, the waitress was very nice, and the restaurant itself was clean. They also serve I believe ice cream at the front. Overall, it just wasn’t the right fit for me. Maybe brunch would have been a different experience.”
