Deniz Turkish Mediterranean

“I have been eating at, and taking food out from, Deniz, ever since they opened, years ago now. The food is always exceptionally delicious and fresh. The staff are always incredibly polite and attentive. I feel extremely lucky to be able to call Deniz my local, and favorite neighborhood restaurant. If you have never tried, you must! If you have already been there… You know what I mean!”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. To start sigara boregi 10/10. Followed by my first lamb shank, tender and delicious. Turkish beer was a big hit as well! Interesting tab to open the bottle that added to the experience. Stuffed cabbage I highly recommend. I even indulged on some delicious baklava you must try.”

“This restaurant is one of the best in Mediterranean Restaurants New York City and Brooklyn; the service is amazing, and the staff are always so sweet and accommodating. Last night we celebrated my big sister’s 50th birthday with a dinner. She had Bronzino with rice and a salad. I ordered the fillet snapper, which was amazing, and it came with a salad and mashed potatoes. Mom ordered chicken kebabs, and Mom’s friend ordered lamb. Everything was fantastic. If you’re ever in New York City, you have to check them out they’ve been around forever and are truly amazing. I could literally eat here every day. Sidebar the Hummus is delicious!”

“Reminds me of Istanbul!! As a frequent traveler I enjoyed my time in Istanbul, Turkey🇹🇷. One of the best things was the food so when I came back home in 2020 I searched for Turkish food. I’ve been coming to Deniz ever since then. The service is friendly , the atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. Deniz is a nice cozy restaurant with authentic Turkish food and decor. The rice, house salad & Salmon kabob is my absolute fave. I only wish they had Bulgar on the menu!”

“Beautiful interior inside however when I went in to dine we were seated by the second to last table buy the bathrooms. Three other parties were dining at the restaurant it was not full. 🤔 One of the servers began to sweep the floor by our table while we were eating. 🤔 Unfortunately it was not a good experience for me.”
