“This might be my favorite spot for pizza in Manhattan! They seem to be known for their deep dish but I personally enjoyed the thin crust more. The pepperoni with jalapeños and Mike’s hot honey was absolutely delicious! The burger and caesar salad was spot on too. The service could have been better, there was only one server and he was taking his time to tend to us, but the food was so good that we’d definitely go back!”
“What a vibe! Me and my partner came, and I am still thinking about that pizza. I’ve never ever had a pizza like it. It was incredible. And I now can’t look at UK pizza the same! Please get yourself a branch in Newcastle England. I will be awaiting!! Thanks for your service, was fantastic.”
“Emmett's is a really cool restaurant! They have a lot of offerings, from deep dish to thin crust pizza to sandwiches and hotdogs. The inside has a dark and chill vibe and they do have outdoor seating. The staff are all very helpful and attentive. Definitely worth going!”
“Delicious deep dish pizza. And the bread sticks were amazing. Had a lemonade as well. It was both sweet and tart, perfectly refreshing.”
“After years of traveling around the country and the world and searching out great spots that care deeply about what they serve, I’ve committed to highlighting places I love. Most everyone loves pizza - I’m right up there in the top 0.1 percentile of pizza fanatics. Living in NYC, I’ve been fortunate to eat at almost every one of the great spots - in all five boroughs. Tonight my daughter and I wanted to try deep dish at Emmett’s on MacDougal. I’ve eaten at this Emmett’s before - but had the thin crust. It was great. I love deep dish. I travel to Chicago for work regularly and have tried most of the greats there too (Pequods is my favorite). Emmett’s on grove is legit! Delicious. We got the traditional sausage, peppers and onions and it was dead on. It was saucy, the sausage had a little spice, and the crust was buttery greatness. The vibe here is great and I would highly recommend a stop here.”
