The guacamole was awesome as were the chips and flight of salsa. The soups were so tasty and the tacos were so delicious. The desserts were innovative and mouthwatering. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. We even met Chef Alex and he was so friendly and down to earth. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our dining experience at Empellon. Try it - you won't be disappointed!”

“I didn’t expect much walking in, but the moment I stepped inside, the energy instantly pulled me in. The place was lively without being overwhelming, and the aroma of grilled meat, spices, and fresh tortillas made it impossible not to feel excited about the meal ahead. I started with a plate of tacos, and honestly, they were some of the best I’ve had. The meat was tender and packed with flavor, and the balance of toppings was just right—nothing overpowering, just everything working together. I also tried their nachos, which came loaded and didn’t feel cheap or rushed. Every bite had something on it, which I really appreciated. What stood out the most for me, though, was how fresh everything tasted. Even the salsa had that perfect kick—not too spicy, but enough to keep things interesting. The drinks were refreshing and complemented the food really well. The staff made the experience even better. They were friendly, quick, and made me feel comfortable without hovering too much. By the time I left, I was full, satisfied, and already thinking about what I’d order next time. It’s definitely a place I’d come back to.”

“We loved our dinner here. The room is brightly lit and warm. The service is top notch... incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Lots of vegan options. The rib steak fajita is amazing! As is the guacamole with the salsa flight!!! Everything was delicious. Looking forward to going back for sure!”

“Empellón was fantastic, and I would absolutely come back. We came in for an early dinner on a Friday and had a truly wonderful meal from start to finish. We started with the guacamole with 7 salsas, which came highly recommended — and it absolutely lived up to the hype. This is a must-order. The guacamole itself is incredibly fresh and well seasoned, and the range of salsas — from the mid-level spice like the salsa verde all the way to the spiciest options — are all worth trying. Best part? There’s plenty left over to use throughout the rest of the meal. We then shared the fish tempura tacos and the rib steak fajita, and while the tacos were good, they were completely overshadowed by the fajitas. The fajita plate was outstanding — 20 ounces of perfectly tender steak, fresh warm corn tortillas, and a deeply flavorful bone marrow that tied everything together beautifully. We finished with the very popular avocado dessert, which was the perfect way to end the meal. It wasn’t heavy or overly sweet and came with these wonderful petit fours filled with ice cream that tasted like a key lime crust — such a thoughtful, refreshing finale. Shoutout to our waiter, who made the experience even better — fun, kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. Overall, an excellent meal with bold flavors, thoughtful execution, and great service. I’d absolutely come back to explore more of their modern menu.”
